I don't put a lot of miles on my garage kept Maverick Hybrid, so I've received Deep Sleep Mode messages. It is really not a problem and there always seems to be enough juice to start up when I'm ready to go. One tip - if you want to reduce the chances of getting the Deep Sleep Mode, use your keyfob to double-lock the door by pressing twice each time you lock it (till the horn alerts). The double lock reduces the activity going on when you're away (the various clicks and processes the Maverick does when turned off). My Maverick Hybrid has been a pleasure to own and operate so far - not perfect, but excellent. Happy owner here.Good evening all!
Many of you have seen my prior post on finding my new Maverick that I'm getting next week. I'll try to be brief here:
Sudden unexpected braking with the hybrid when coming to a stop.
Deep sleep mode.
Would really appreciate any opinions as to these two issues that I've seen multiple times while browsing through this site and how to react and/or deal with them in the most efficient manner.
Mine is a 2023. Should I have any concerns? Anything else I should be mindful of being a first time hybrid vehicle owner?
