Didn't catch it referenced for newbies.
There is extra info in a poster's status area about what version of Maverick - EB or Hybrid, they have.
This could easily not be shown when viewing forums on phone browser.
Despite that - it's useful to fill it out with year and trim specifics - since that matters to many questions and answers. Especially with pre-25MY's vs 25MY-on.
Also - signature line mighty useful that way, and is viewable by all. (if they read it)
That way if a question or answer doesn't state what others realize is necessary info - it might be discerned anyway from those tidbits.
Then again if search can't be bothered with at least once - perhaps those tidbits won't be read.
