That looks really good. I think I've got myself talked into a Lariat vs SLT, but I hate the brown seats, which means I need to also order the BAP. On Ford's website the seats look very black, but yours look like they are a dark grey. I'm concerned about it getting boiling hot during the summer. I guess remote start can negate that, but based on past experience I don't always remember to use it.

Care to comment on the shade of the interior and the effect of summertime heat?
I got the nano ceramic 35% front driver passenger windows tinted and 20% rear doors plus the rear window with the slider. Did not do the windhield 5% shade. Be sure to get the more expensive tint that not only gets the UV blockage but the 99+% infrared blockage (that's where most of heat comes from). The 5% has almost no tint but still blocks the high percentage of the infra red! I am going to add the 5% to my windshield but am getting by without it fine. This was done on the brown active x interior on my first edition. I picked up my Tremor with the black package yesterday and will do it 100% before next. I live near Austin, Tx. With the tint I used I find that Max cool is not a solutly necessary but is better, of course. The tint with IR blockage is more expensive but worth it.

Not yet, but the 18'' wheels, fender flares and camera angle make it look a bit that way. I'm still debating on whether to just level it or or lift it too.
Lower it!

Curious about the fit of the box rack for your boards, are any adapters needed? Does it look like it will clamp easily to the bed rails? Attractive price. Thanks for sharing, good looking rig.

Will let you know, still waiting on the tonneau to arrive. I think it's a near identical setup to the ones available through truck2go

I live in FL and have the BAP on mine. I also have full ceramic tint as well as full on the windshield. It helps but the seats get a little warm, but I don't think more than normal. What helps me at least during the week is with the Ford Pass app you can schedule remote start. Since I usually leave work at 5pm I have it scheduled to turn on Mon-Fri at 4:55 so it's already cool and waiting for me. If I happen to not leave on time it shuts off automatically after 15 min anyways.

Hi everyone, I'm finally feeling it's time to share my Mav after adding a few things to customize the look. This forum has been tremendously helpful in capturing others' experience, style, and recommendations. Really appreciate everyone's dedication to the Maverick hobby!

Backstory:

I've been driving a 2014 Tundra Platinum w/ only 50k miles and a bunch of upgrades. It really only gets used for hauling kids around town for their activities, so was looking for something small, stylish and efficient.

I started looking for a Maverick about a month ago and jumped down the rabbit hole looking for any available for sale nearby (was oblivious to the whole order+wait time for most). Through building my ideal Mav on the website I was able to narrow down the trim level and factory add-ons I was looking for. Managed to find one 500mi away that ticked off almost every box and would end up being my mini-Tundra. :) The dealership had ordered this as part of their annual allowance thinking they could turn a profit. It was marked up $5k over msrp, but I was able to negotiate that down. All-in it was about $5k difference they gave me on the trade, which in hindsight I'm happy with as my local dealer said the one they sold a week before would have been about a $12k difference.

The Build:

I wanted a good balance of clean, aggressive, and protective add-ons to start. Feeling really good about the choices so far! Thanks again to this channel and some Youtube tutorials I've been able to install these all myself, aside from the bed liner.

List of features/upgrades:

2023 Ford Maverick Hybrid Lariat Lux Black Appearance Package:
Exterior: Iconic Silver
Interior: Black leather

Next up:

Wish list for the future:
  • Step rails
  • Dashcam / Rearview mirror combo
  • LED replacement bulbs
  • Front grill LED Daytime Running Lights

Great job! I really think the black trim around the wheelwells help "finish" the look, just wish the Air Design pieces were'nt $6-700 bucks. Your Bushwackers are almost screaming for a wider or more offset tire/rim,,,,,

You have done a nice job on your truck. Just a comment though. Don’t forget that you need to install some sort of track that allows you to use the rack and bed cover at the same time or lower the racks and put them right behind the cab and use your cover when driving so your gas mileage will not be affected.

Get the darkest legal window tinting and that will help with the heat.
