Only had one snow big enough to try it in here in Nebraska, but it worked! Cleared the driveway and street in front of the house.
Successfully turned 6 inches of snow into about a quarter inch of ice, but will get better at it if I get to practice more haha
Thanks for the advice, everyone! Will definitely keep it in mind for v2.0
Until I can test, here's the inspiration video. Lots of examples of you search 'wood hitch plow'
Yeah, I'm sure it's not built for commercial use. :) Just pushing the snow on my very long/wide driveway to the end. Main obstacles are the basketball hoop, garage door, and trash cans. The snow blower struggles and I usually end up blowing snow to another part of the driveway 2 or 3 times...
Recently put this wood snow plow together after seeing a few examples on Youtube. Now just have to wait for that first real snow to hit to test it out!
Materials:
1 - 8ft 2x12, green treated - Shaved a 15 degree angle on the bottom edge

A few notes:
Some interference with the tailgate strut and tie-downs. Seems...
Ha, good eye, it was a cheap pickup from Walmart and actually has wood grain accents on the front so it's flipped backwards. Just grabbed it the day after getting the truck to preserve the wheel.
This is the closest I can find to what I bought:

Not yet, but the 18'' wheels, fender flares and camera angle make it look a bit that way. I'm still debating on whether to just level it or or lift it too.
Well, when the temp drops below 100 I'll let you know haha. It's just a cheap cover from Walmart to keep the wheel in good shape. Can pop it off as needed!
Mine's been mostly garaged so far, but as you said remote start helps. It's been 100 degrees for a couple weeks here and one day I had to park it outside facing South, but didn't notice any major heat after remote starting for 5mins. I'm also planning to get a windshield cover and ceramic front...
