Balanced out means dropped and forever unfulfilled. Unless your dealer has taken action to roll your ‘23 order over to ‘24.

You mean STILL open? Ford must have lost more potential Maverick customers than I thought. I figured they would take 24 orders for maybe 2 weeks then shut it down to prevent another 22 & 23 fiasco. Or maybe between the 3rd shift addition and the recent increased production their capacity must have increased greatly.

It is still open because Ford told dealerships their allocation before the banks opened. So, dealers likely took fewer orders in total because they knew how many they were going to get. Ford closed banks last year because dealers loaded up the order banks.

I guess Ford still thinks an order in hand is one less a competitor might get? Even IF they know good and well it could be a year long wait or more for those who didn't order last month when order banks opened? Also, for those who bail on their orders....the dealers will make a fat profit with the 5-10K markup over any vehicles people have walked away from arriving on their lots.
