Key Dates:
- Final expected order commit due date for balance out: 9/5 (subject to change if the plant reaches capacity before this date).
- Spec Changes and cancellations will shut off on - 8/29.

What is a "OTD-Fitness Vehicle Line"?

I never got a super clear answer, but the gist of it was that it stands for "Order to Delivery". Meaning that the Maverick is now handled from a scheduling, production, and final delivery perspective in a way that is supposed to be a lot more streamlined and efficient than it was in the past. Now what does that mean? Who knows. Probably more close/precise control of needed parts being on the line when needed, scheduling of the train to get it out of the factory faster, etc... All things that you would hope Ford was doing anyway for all their assembly plants, but apparently only is used on some vehicle models / only some models get the special treatment.

I assumed it referred to them holding the units for several weeks prior to shipping them out the door to prevent recalls later.
