Has anyone been able to use the Ford Private Offer? Ford Marketing indicated I might be able to get a discount.
However, in the past, my dealer said this does not apply to me? TIA

If they gave you the private offer code, then your dealership can insert it into the Ford application, called smartvincent or something like that.

Even the dealership I bought my Maverick last Friday, was able to put it in the system. It’s too bad my dealership tried to take it as profit, claiming it doesn’t count. I had to remind him that it does count and that I’m price protected from the order date. It took me 2 1/2 hours of arguing with them.

You're not providing any meaningful information.. Did Ford Marketing just call your phone out of the blue and state that you were eligible for a Private Offer? Did they email you? If email, post it here.

Call Ford at (800) 392-3673 , tell them what occured and ask for your Private Offer Certificate number... If you have a legitimate Private Offer, there will be a certificate number at some point...

Sure, Folsom Lake Ford. I give my sales rep five stars for being straightforward and honest with me. We didn’t argue at all, but I did have to argue over the protected price and the private offer with his management. Their argument was that you either get one or the other, but not both. That’s what we agreed on or so I thought was to get both the protected date price and the private offer. A handshake is a handshake on an agreement, but apparently not with this dealership

What irks me the most is that the way the finance process went down wasn’t as straight up as the Ford dealership in Colusa was when I bought the Escape PHEV (background in picture posted) last December.

So not only did I have to argue for the protected date price and the private offer, they essentially took the current MSRP rather than the protected price without mentioning it during the finance department process.
Needless to say, it’s left me with a bad taste in my mouth, especially having to wait a total of one year nine months to get this Maverick.

Not too belabor the point.... I am totally confused (that is what happens when you get old - lol). I have a PO CTF # give to me by Ford Marketing. I called FM for clarification on the PO and they told me it is not applicable to my hybid xlt Mav?

Grumpa, sorry I don't know what a "PO CTF #" is, but maybe @Donodo, or one of the other members could answer that question for you.

You only qualify for a PO, or private offer if you had a 22 not get scheduled and re-ordered a 23.

If you re-ordered for 23 and still didn't get scheduled you get to stack both private offers on a 24.

Or if you just placed a new 23 order and didn't get scheduled you will receive a single private offer for a 24.

There are certain private offers that are not applicable to Mavericks. Ford marketing just sees that you have a certificate, but does not see the details.

Do you have a "program number" for the private offer. I could quickly check and tell you whether or not Maverick is included in that specific private offer.

I can't recall seeing any private offer that included Maverick, other than the model year transition offers!!!

The (now expired) Private Offer I posted in #5 above appears to have been applicable to Mavericks as well for a limited time. It's not to be confused with the 22-23 Maverick Rollover Private Offer for non-built 22's.

It's difficult to determine what occured in this thread w/o the actual email from Ford that has not been provided....
