Hey all! My white Lariat Hybrid finally arrived. Placed order 9/20/22, arrived at deal 8/3/23 and I took possesion 8/8/23. Dealer was awesome and didn't try any shenanigans, purchased at sticker.
The Oxford White is sharp and looks amazing on the Lariat. I've had it for a couple of days now and I am averaging pretty close to 50mpg without effort. Commute to work has more downhill so I get a bit over 50mpg on the way, the trip home I get just under 49mpg. I am very pleased with this. My wife and daughter love it and are begging to get to drive it, but I told them they had to wait until I clear the 500 break-in period. The weather has even been cooperative so I can enjoy using the moonroof and rear window and not have to turn on the AC. I got the Motorola wireless android adapter and have been pleased to get in the truck and have my audiobook resume playing. What a joy this truck is. It is so comfortable and smooth that it doesn't even feel like I'm driving, let alone driving a "truck".
For back ground I have been driving enocomy sedans for the last 30 years (Saturn SL1's and a Honda Civic), manual locks, windows, transmission. So this is certainly an upgrade on all fronts. My wife has been driving mini-vans for the last 20 years and the Maverick is definitely nicer. I'm going to have a hard time keeping her from stealing it.
