My wife and I planned a road trip for late August and naturally the truck got built today. For those in the southeast or specifically the Atlanta area, How long did it take from the day it got built to the day that it showed up at your dealership? We're hoping it'll get here before the road trip

I'm in north Alabama, so not that far away. Mine shipped last week, I'm checking with my dealer today to hopefully get an idea of exactly where it is, but I'd previously talked with someone here who lives just a few miles away, indicated the truck went to Nashville on rail, then offloaded from there to North Alabama, entire process took about 3 weeks IIRC. Mileage may vary, of course. Mine shipped on 7/27, has an ETA window beginning 8/16, if that helps.

I think it's pretty much a crap shoot. Mine shipped yesterday and isn't scheduled to arrive in FL until the first couple weeks of August but wouldn't be surprised if it took longer. Some say it's the hardest part of the wait. I dissent because I know it's built and on the way.

I'm in Ohio but mine was pre-ordered June 2022, built 6/16, shipped 6/25, arrived at destination train yard on 7/12 and has yet to be delivered to dealer.

The final destination train yard is 60 mins from my house.

For the last 3 weeks knowing my truck is sitting 60 mins away has been 10x harder than the previous wait. I would have gladly dropped everything and picked it up myself. So seeing your truck an inch from finish line and Ford is just giving you the middle finger is not easy.

Mine took 4 weeks from build date to delivery date. I live just west of Atlanta.

My truck shipped out July 17th and I haven’t any idea how long it’ll take to get to me. I’m in the Birmingham area.

Not exactly your question, but might be somewhat useful to you. We live in the Tampa Bay area, but we bought the truck through an upstanding dealer in the Milwaukee area (Boucher, Zach sales). From build (March 14) to delivery at the dealer (March 29) took approx two weeks. Did not expect it to be there so soon! So, if the logistics click, you'll be on your way when road trip time comes. We flew up and got it, and had our road trip on the way back.
