Hi I like your set up. I’d like to try. Will you be sharing the .stl or 3d file. Also does the cd player have a lid or is it a slide out?
Great idea! Yes, will you be sharing the .stl or 3d file? Also, where'd you get that cd player?
One tool would be to use Google ratings ... anything 3.6, 3.7 and over with a high number of folks responding is a good sign. Then read some of what the people say in their feedback. You might consider using them for an oil change, to get to know them some, to see if you're on the same page...
Surly, this is a well known problem at Ford dealers. First, drop by the Service Department and speak with a Service Advisor that you've built a relationship with. If you haven't done that yet, do it ... someone you can work with in the future when things come up. Explain all this stuff to him...
Makes a lot of sense.
Makes a lot of sense JT. Once you're all better, reward yourself with the latest Mav on the market. And let us know what you got. All the best.
A couple of years ago, I drove my 23 XLT home from the Milwaukee area where I purchased it to the Tampa Bay area ... 1,300 miles. Not a problem at all. Tried to vary the speed a little and stayed around 70mph. Enjoy the ride.
So it should be arriving in just a few weeks. You could look at the situation philosophically and take the one that Ford is making especially for you at the factory. You'll love it, and it's not far off.
I bought my 23 XLT in Wisconsin (Milwaukee area, Boucher Ford Menomonee Falls) and drove it back to Florida. Never had such a great buying experience. Wife and I also enjoyed the mini vacation we took to get back home. In our case, we had proof of insurance, did the purchase (money...
Mike, I'm ok with the seats. We've all got our own preferences.
I've even got that sound system up to pretty good level by bumping up the sound towards the front a couple of notches then finding the best right left balance.
After I change the front speakers, I should be moving the sound...
Thanks for getting back on this, JKD. I really appreciate it. It's definitely a tempting mod. Since I live where the roads a generally flat and straight, I'm going to put that money towards a set of better tires when the time comes.
Hey A7A, I ordered my 23 XLT through a dealer in the Milwaukee area (Boucher), and picked it up and drove it back down home about a year ago. Working with them was clear and honest. My truck got built and delivered in 5 months. I looked into all the dealers in my neck of the woods for...
Last April, we drove our XLT hybrid 1,300 miles from the dealer in the Milwaukee area (Boucher Ford) where we picked it up, to home in the Tampa Bay area. Smooth, problem free and fun trip. Before doing it though, I checked with the service dept at our local dealer of choice and they said no...
Dan, if you see this ... thanks for sharing this solution. The Akro Designs insert doesn't come with the plug in connectors at the bottom, just an opening for them. (Correct?) If so, where do you get the usb or connection ports to place in the Akro insert? Much appreciated.
I had the first one done yesterday at around 5,000 miles and the tires rotated as well. The tech came to the house to do the two recall updates, and took care of the oil and tires.
