Exactly - So glad I got my 2023 Lariat/Hybrid (01/11/23) that I ordered back in 2021. I ordered it with all the "Standard" items that were "Included", with the exception of the $100 hitch. This was all I wanted and all I needed. With the $2,750 ford rebate and the Ford A/Z-Plan @ $1,406 applied, I had an Out-The-Door price of $27,521.00.

I did a build-price on a 2024 Maverick this morning with no add-ons but the Hybrid engine. I couldn't believe what Ford has done to this great little truck pricing when it comes to the Lariat. They have FORCED a lot of add-ons that I would NEVER need or use. There are very few options now and at a minimum, you are going to pay $38,687.00 (minus any rebate) Out-The-Door for a 2024 Lariat /Hybrid here in SW Florda.

$11, 106.00 difference -- Thanks Ford for making me wait eleven months to get my Maverick. This new price erases the memory of a painful experience.

This is not "INFLATIONARY" --I guess when you've lost 3 billion dollars, you do this kind of thing!
Yes the word option is worth less now.

Built mine at about 12:15 am last night and the 24MY pricing was already live. Built a Lariat Hybrid with the moonroof option. I have two dealers putting in an order for me. Here’s hoping I get it.

I was putting in two orders today, different dealers.

Dealer 1: Used the online order guide I found here to spec it all out last Monday, before they’d even seen it yet at that dealership. Did everything the way this forum and YouTubers suggested, all arranged for a week in advance, put down a deposit, ready to go. Stayed in touch with the salesmen, including a few emails this morning, just getting him the configuration link from the website to make his life easier when 4:00 hit.

Dealer 2: Used the button on the build and price site to send it to a second dealer about 1:00am last night, on a whim. Heard back from them about 8:30 this morning, to confirm, said he’d follow up once the orders opened for a deposit. Got that call about 4:15, they could enter them but not print the paperwork due to the system issues. Took my card details, all good.

As of 45 min ago, I have a confirmation email from ford for dealer 2’s order, they still haven’t run my card. Not a peep from dealer 1, where I “did it the right way”.

Go figure.

Wow, almost a 7k increase from what we just paid for our 23 (with a private offer from MY22).

Guess, well see if this is the fair market price now by how fast the order banks close.

I predict they will still sell every hybrid they can make. The secondary market will just have less profit margin. It will still be years before a Maverick hybrid with reasonable/average mileage is worth anything under MSRP.

Barring a bad recession, I think your right. It is just sticker shock, since we just got ours earlier this month.

Just talked to my salesman and he said the order banks have been down and they are going to keep trying to enter orders. It blows my mind that in the year of 2023 and the precedent set for the expectations of this truck that Ford can’t figure out how to increase their resources to accommodate the additional load. It seems they are incapable of learning from the past. It’s not like they put this date in stone months ago….
It's just that so many things don't go well or right with the Ford Ordering process and interaction with the customer, that it makes me wonder how they can maintain their position in the market. This is the first Ford I have ordered or even bought and I expect that I will enjoy this truck once I get it, but my view of Ford as a company, as an organization, well, I just don't have much faith in them.

I hope and wish they can do better in the future.

I expect this to be my Last Purchase of a new ICE Vehicle, and furthermore expect my next purchase to be an All Electric (BEV) Pick-Up Truck. If I was buying a BEV in the next year or two, it would not be a Ford. Let's see what they do for the Next Gen F-150, Ranger, and even Maverick as All Electric versions, and I hope they would be on my radar when the time comes.

Just re-built my 2022 XLT.

Price increase is $5500 from 2022.

And the numeric keypad for entry is still listed. 😎
Same for me. XLT with trailer hitch, full size spare and 110v inverter. 2024 is just shy of $30,000. My 2022 was 24,500. I love my Mav, but I wouldn’t consider it at the 2024 price.

Looks like I'm in the minority - must be the combination I chose. My 23 vs. 24 price is lower. AWD Eco Lariat, BAP, 4k, Moonroof.

interesting, are you certain?

my 22 versus 24 increased by only $440. certainly you have lariat lux with cp360 assist and I don't have a moon roof or BAP. I do have the optional 18s but those have been $795 all 3 model years.

A comparably loaded Lariat EB technically decreased, but only if you don't count the price protection on the $500 '23MY mid-year price increase. So in practice it's still ~$275 increase versus an order placed in September '22.

My build spec'd for 24 is within $500 or so, but no option for the manual rear window! The horror 😆
