I had a MY22 vin since July that got the notorious push back week after week, and with the MY23 order banks set to close because of high demand, I was worried my order would end up in limbo somewhere, so in the final hour (literally) I put in a backup order. I was right to be worried about having my vin canceled, but luckily limbo did not happen and I was successful in getting a MY23 in February through my original order. I've already gotten my deposit back for this so don't plan on taking delivery. Not sure if or how much Metro Ford plans on marking this up, but if anyone feels like trying their luck by getting their name on it early, this one should be available.

Not to be a scrooge and you were definitely screwed over in the 22 to 23 mix up, but when you recieved the original order you wanted why didn't you cancel this order so that those parts could have been used on an order for someone else that has been waiting? Congrats on getting 2 orders to be built.

They must have been up late scheduling. Checked around 6PM Central time and was unscheduled. Just checked with chat about 20 minutes ago and it was scheduled and has yesterdays date listed in the pizza tracker.

My dealer contacted me yesterday and told me my 23 would NOT be built so I specc'd out a new 24 and he was happy to get it in his pile of work before the 17th. He said he won't have much time to speak to customers on the 17th.
So 1st Maverick took 16 months.
2nd Maverick - Ordered last September, never built
2nd Maverick round 2 - Ordered July and we will see. I ordered a Cactus Grey Lariat Lux.

The 2022s that didn't get built and were rolled over to a 2023 were mostly the last ones ordered.
Sucks to have been there the first day of ordering for 2023 and being rolled over to 2024.
I know all our 2023 orders were within a 5 day period, but jeez, I'm there the first hour of the first day and they can't build me a vehicle that year?

in canada i guess these emails go to the dealer. Dealer just texted me to tell me my truck is scheduled for mid sept. xl ecoboost, 4k tow package and 400w inverter cactus grey, ordered Nov 22 in lindsay ontario.

No. The only email I ever received was the initial "order confirmed" and the first 45 day email.

I had to change emails attached to my order due to my university killing my .edu account and supposedly they changed everything over at the dealer and Ford says everything is good on their side but still have not got any emails to my new account from Ford.

Luckily getting my Area 51, although I was okay with the change to AGM

I missed the '22 hybrid order date by 2 days because I thought I needed to have a down payment/deposit at time of order (have never purchased a new vehicle before). I have been excited for the truck for quite a while, and will be happy to be in a new vehicle because the 200k miles I have put on my Accord are starting to show.

Now my question is, being that a bunch of MY22 with Vin got canceled in the final hour, should I still do a rollover for 24 just in case?

Today, 7/13/23, at 4:58pm EDT, I got my 'good news' with VIN regarding being 'scheduled'. I placed my 2023 Lariat Hybrid order on 9/15/22 on day #1 of the order bank - so 10 months to get scheduled. I would have wished for a 2024 now, BUT I ordered a fairly 'base' Lariat, and they are now making 2024 Lariats FULLY LOADED as standard. The 2024 Lariat would have been at a higher price point than I wanted to be at ( even with 'price protection' ). I am fairly certain I was 'made to wait' because I 'didn't spend enough' ( besides being a Hybrid ). So - I am mostly happy ( even though enthusiasm has cooled a lot over 10 months ) And I assume I won't see this vehicle until probably later in October this year.

Kudos to you! My 22 to 23 rollover is just like yours! Great price point which will never be seen again for a Lariat! Didn't want to pay for unnecessary heated options in Florida.
