Hey hey! I got my Maverick at Kendall Ford of Kenai too! Joel Macrander took care of me and did an excellent job! Same experience. He didn’t try to upsell me, pressure me into a different vehicle, sold for MSRP, $500 refundable deposit and locked in financing. I was a little disappointed with the financing department who tried to push me into their extended warranty, but Joel did such a good job I was willing to overlook it. Thrilled with my Cactus Grey Lariat here in Homer!Kendall Ford of Kenai did a fantastic job from placing my order all the way through to delivery. The staff were knowledgeable, experienced, kind, and above all honest.
They sell customer-ordered Mavericks at MSRP and honored price protection, Farm Bureau $500 rebate, and gave me a fair price on the trade-in.
I enthusiastically recommend this dealership here in Alaska.

More than a year ago, I found mention of a dealership and salesperson in my region that was recommended here on Maverick Truck Club. I'm happy to say that Shauz Daniels at Jacky Jones Ford in Sweetwater, TN made the purchase as low-drama as possible. I paid MSRP + $399 doc fee. There was no ADM or high pressure to buy anything else.
Shauz worked his backside off to get my order in last year. You may remember that after the order bank went live, it crashed/froze/crawled that first evening (9/15). He stayed with it until he got it put in the morning of 9/16. I wanted to make sure they knew I wanted the truck, so every 45 days when I got the "We're still working hard on your order" letter from Ford, I would drive about an hour and go spend some time with Shauz.
After a long wait, my truck got scheduled -- and then my heart sank as I calculated the delivery time to be when I would be on a trip in Europe. After all the horror stories about trucks being sold out from under the original customer, I was worried that would happen to me. Shauz reassured me this was not how Jacky Jones does business.
Sure enough, while I was overseas, the truck was delivered to the dealership (a couple of weeks early, even). I made an appointment to come and complete the order as soon as I was back in town. It turns out my salesman was leaving on his own trip, so he arranged for one of his colleagues (Mandi Devine) to complete the deal with me. Other than waiting 304 days for delivery, this was the easiest car-buying signing day I've ever had. They gave me what I thought was a fair trade-in value for my old car and then transferred the tags for me.
