What’s Ford’s thought process on exterior color changes?

Ford seems to care more for fleet customers than individual retail customers. I guess it's all about the money. At least, that's the way it looks to me. I'm glad they still have the atlas blue!

I love Eruption Green, but the hype/desire of having it on the Maverick is beyond me. Green exterior with blue interior?

I am also a bit biased, I will order the Terrain color if my '23 doesn't get build lol

I would have to agree on the green exterior with blue interior. That would just puke imo.
Maybe on the refresh or design update model year they will change the interior color palate. I could have done several of the MY22 or MY23 exterior colors but I couldn't take them with the current interior palate, really limited the choices for my taste.

Two things:

1. Easier to be a not be a popular color when it's not an option.
2. Upper right are people who live in the South. Lower right are people who never lived in the South.

And, what do you know. The XL is available in white, black, gray, silver, red and blue. The top 5. I guess Ford knows what it's doing after all?

That’s my vote. They really hate there being so many XL orders. By limiting the colors they squeeze more folks into the XLT.
Truth be told, I’d order the XLT if it had the option to have the XL interior colors.

Very possible that the only people really ordering those colors were fleet buyers in the first place.
Could also be a carrot on a stick to get you to upgrade to the XLT.

Same here regarding HPRM…I went with Carbonized Gray, now they’re snatching that away. Not a fan of blues or light grays (grey/green or gray/blue), or even black or white. I might have gone with terrain, but it’s not available on XLs.

Yep…that’s what I called gray/green.

plenty of individuals ordered CG (including me) it is a very popular color.

And a beautiful color when the light hits right.
