I love it! What a cute little thing. lol I can't imagine the amount of custom work that went into doing this. Definitely a passion project/hobby just meant for the fun of it!

That's a Smyth kit. He makes kits to do that to Bugs, Jettas, Dodge Chargers and Jeep Cherokees. Pretty simple process.

Define "pretty simple".....Modding a vehicle by removing the C pillar and installing a $3.5K kit doesn't exactly scream pretty simple to me. Not sure what kinda skills you got but they must be better than mine! lol

I mean if you are going to do a conversion, at least use a vehicle that isn't a POS. Thankfully the Bug II was discontinued, so this will never be more than a conversion.
