Just saw a Government owned Maverick at a National Park

Was in a parking lot at Morristown National Historic Park and saw a White 2023 Maverick FX4. I wonder how many the government has purchased?

they are all owned by the government. They are leased through GSA who owns them. But in this case the Maverick is owned by the DOI since the tag begins with an “I”.

No surprise. They (meaning most manufactures) will essentially prioritize the easier to build models that are no frills and used as "work" vehicles. This is happening with Toyota and GM currently. People report having received multiple work vehicles while others are waiting for their orders. No constraints and base models get pushed out quicker - usually. What is funny though is this one has the FX4 package and a tonneau cover.

I saw one on I-90 today! Not too far from the Parks Maverick at Lake Sammamish State Park.

I haven’t seen any as government vehicles but I have seen a lot of them as commercial vehicles. There is an auto parts store in Stallings, NC that has 3 of them in their parking lot everyday that they use. I’ve seen a roofer with one, and a bug/pest remover with a Maverick as well. The guy who changed the springs on my garage door has been trying to get one as well! He was trying to buy mine off of me!

Saw an official US Government plate on one at my dealer several weeks ago.

I would have mentioned it but didn’t want to aggravate the plebeians awaiting theirs here on this forum.

It kind of ticked me off and I already have mine!
