LM did get more allocations this month than expected so maybe they got next month's early.

Tim has said they aren't sure they will take any new MY24 orders next month depending on how many MY23 orders are unscheduled at the end of the MY23 builds and on the estimated allocations they will be given for MY24.

Which should a dealer do - put in a lot of orders for customers the few days the MY24 banks are open knowing some will not get built or try to stick to the MY24 estimated allocations Ford tells them? Disappointed customers either way.

Is Tim talking about all 2024 orders? Or just 2024 Hybrid orders?

I don't see why they shouldn't take new EcoBoost orders if all of the 2023 EcoBoost orders are scheduled.

Just heard Long McArthur Ford is getting ZERO allocations for this coming month. (Corrected from saying "rest of the year").

FYI, they were ranked 3rd in the Nation for EcoBoost in sales for Month of May.
January-May of 2023, they are ranked 4th in the Nation in Hybrid sales.

Zero allocations......
I have my 2023 Maverick was going to order 2024 Maverick. Now seeing how Ford is so out of control, no thanks. The best advocate for Ford and they shoot him in the foot, Tim has promoted the Maverick more than any one person including Ford CEO Jim Farley. Ford doesn't make any sense, No way I am ordering any more Fords. Good luck you all, I am out.

At least that many have been scheduled, yes. Don't know about delivered. But that is not out of the ordinary if Ford Corporate uses the "Market Basket" Formula they claimed they would use for allocations. The allocations are supposed to be distributed based on a formula that looks at prior year sales volume for certain models. Long McArthur earned each allocation they have been given based on their past sales volume. So saying "Didn't they already get" makes it sound a bit like they did not deserve those 70 or that this zero for next month is something to be expected. They did deserve each and every one of their prior allocations based on the mathematical formula Ford claimed they would be using. Ford has now essentially said "Too bad, formula doesn't apply to you........for reasons we don't feel like telling you. But keep on selling those vehicles for us! Thanks for being third in the nation on one list and fourth in the nation on another. Here is a kick in the crotch for ya."

I'm not saying they didn't deserve those. I think the reason they don't have any scheduled this go around is because they got 70 last time. I think they my be out of allocations.
But what do I know I just read this stuff and chime in every once in awhile

Maybe this means my little local dealer might actually get a Maverick. I’m a priority 10, but the allocations game has put me on the sideline. Ford should build all special orders before building any dealer stock units.

I'm with ya. I don't know anything more than the average person who spends excessive amounts of time on here. Haha. Just a lot of guesses sometimes.

I find that 2 Old Fashions helps with the allocation math

I can not believe what Ford is doing to Long Mcauthor AND TIM Shame on you ford ☠👎 you got your Number 3 dealer in the USA for ECOs. And Number 4 for Hybrids in the USA for Maverick's ⁉ Also what about the Hundreds of Customers that have been
waiting for their Mavericks ⁉ SHAME ON YOU FORD🌩 Your 💩 on one of your best dealers and 💩💩💩💩💩 On Hundreds of your Customers you have cost your Customers lots of TIME /MONEY This is not how you run a business farley No a thousand time No 👎🌩Tim and Long McArthur Have been you number ONE CHEERLEADER FOR OVER 2 PLUS YEARS ON YOU TUBE 😊👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 he has 100 s of people watch Him and Shara and sold 1000s of Maverick's and Broncos and you treat them like that 👎🌩⁉. Sure would be funny if customer care and the upper brass got a lot of phone calls and E mails. I'm sorry Ford there is no way to defend your actions. (. I truly wonder what Henry Ford would say to this action I don't think it would be GOOD 💯

This happens. My dealership frustratingly got zero allocations one month, so I jumped to another vehicle. The next month, I got scheduled. Just headless chicken in the allocation algorithms.

What do you mean by Granger holding off on new orders until rollovers were fulfilled? What new orders could they make after the order banks closed last September? ? Fleet? Stock units?
They didn’t take 2023 orders when the order bank was open because their rollovers pretty well took all of their expected allocations. It was a very responsible position to take since it avoided the kind of false hope stories we’ve seen elsewhere.
