On 2 occasions. My Mav has started up unattended in the driveway. The key fob was 25 ‘ away. Has this happened to anyone else. It scares me that it might do this in the garage when it is closed.

YES! WHAT I WANT = auto start when 12v battery drops to 11.9v with almost all 12v turned off the ice won't cycle on enough to matter. In the winter mine might cycle four times every 4th day and in summer every 8-10 days. We could call it lonesome dove or airport mode!try removing the battery from the fob and see if it still starts.
People concerned with fires and/or carbon monoxide poisoning kind of frown on this.YES! Might be a slight chance. Not too worried about carbon monoxide as the ice cycling most likely couldn't occur often enough. Either could be a problem just remote starting even.People concerned with fires and/or carbon monoxide poisoning kind of frown on this.
What if a rat or bird builds a straw nest under your tailpipe or similar?
This happened once with my ram when I was outside to witness it.i got the fob from inside the house and turned the truck off. It happened a second time when my fob was laying on the seat inside the truck.turns out my second fob was in a pocket of pants I had tumbling in the dryer! On 2 occasions. Put your FOB in a Faraday cover to see if it still occurs. Could it be a software problem? On 2 occasions. My Mav has started up unattended in the driveway. The key fob was 25 ‘ away. Has this happened to anyone else. It scares me that it might do this in the garage when it is closed.
