Maverick Scheduling This Week (6/1/23) for Production Weeks 7/31-8/28

I got the same info from my salesperson last week about the same time the COVP notice came out. Thought maybe the COVP was in preparation for the planned rollover. That being said, if I don't have a build date by July, I'm placing a '24 order at a different dealer just to hedge my bets.

Considering the same thing here...I'm at 572 days with no schedule date yet.

I ordered on Friday Sept 16 2023 confirmed by Ford on Sat 17th. Hybrid, moonroof, 360, lux pkg, tow hitch, dark blue. Dealer confirmed CVOP approved. Hoping to get in 2023 and Not have to reorder. I Considered a Toyota truck but over my typical 10 yr life of a vehicle Toyota will cost me additional $19k in gas….yikes.
I have never had a truck, but I have used my 5 passenger Rogue SUV unibody as a truck a lot. Maverick is Rogue + 4.5 ft bed, just what I need. I Can’t wait and hope the 3rd shift allows Ford to deliver in 2023 To me and everyone else waiting.

We keep hearing about Toyota loading the chamber. Why doesn't Nissan or Subaru get any of that speculation? Are they asleep?

Has anyone heard officially that unfulfilled ‘23 models will or will not automatically be rolled into ‘24? I asked my salesperson about putting in a ‘24 order in July to hedge my bets and he stated my ‘23 order would automatically be rolled over. That was the first I heard of a rollover.

My dealer said the same but idk if it's true

I understand do that placing a new my24 you will pay all increases for sure no price protection , Having said that, I was considering doing it myself, especially if there’s no price protection from last September orders

Wonder how screwed I’d be if I tried adding my hitch back/if it’s possible since I’m already scheduled?

It is not possible to change your order to add the hitch if you already have a scheduled build date.

I know because I tried having my dealer add the hitch to my MY22 Maverick order in September 2021 a week after I had a scheduled build date and he was not able to do it.

That is the reason I have a MY23 order as I want the hitch.

Not sure what they mean by "improved Trailer Tow Hitch volume".
