I got double lucky! I spotted a dealer allocated XL EB and put down a deposit. Got built on 5-22 and on a railcar on 5-25. Has to come to SC so 3 weeks maybe????? Base model with copilot 360 and 400W inverter.

I got mine December of last year. Ordered it on the second day the first '23 order banks opened up. and was shocked when I got the email saying it was in production at the end of November. It was a bare bones XL with only the trailer hitch as an add on. My '22 model on the other hand took 14 months to get!

If your XL hasn't been scheduled yet, the odds are against you. The latest round of May scheduling specifically excluded XLs from being scheduled, and it seems likely that the remaining scheduling months for MY2023 will not be building XLs due to the original 15% constraint.

If I were you, I would think about changing my order to an XLT trim.
No scheduling on my xlt ordered Sept 2022.

Originally ordered 11-3-2021, scheduled build date week 6-12-2023 for XL.
Good luck.

Picked up my 11/5/21 order 2 weeks ago. Made a duplicate order on 9/2022 just in case at another dealer and no schedule there. Will probably see that in another 18 months.

In September 2022 I ordered a ‘23 XL Hybrid with a stand alone hitch and no other options. A unicorn of unicorns. Scheduled on April 13 for June 12 production. It is mostly about dumb luck and dealer allocations.

The added third shift will help, but at this point I would guess that your overall odds of getting a ‘23 XL Hybrid are less than 50%. Not impossible but not likely either.

Don’t forget to make sure your dealer refiles your COVP before June 2nd. Otherwise, your odds will drop to zero. Good luck to you.

I think those odds are higher than I've been led to believe all along. I still believe them to be a lot less than 50 percent. But, it's really anyone's guess. Still trying to decide if I should put in an order for a '24.

My guess is that the new COVP verification will result in a lot of canceled orders. That will help all who remain.

If you order a ‘24, you might want to pick a high volume dealer. Most dealers don’t want to discuss their allocation. All the dealers near me were within a few hundred dollars on price. So for me all I could do was guess which dealer had the highest volume. I did that by looking at their dealer website for online stock, and the number of incoming units (all models, not just Mavericks). And don’t forget to get your OTD price in writing, signed by the dealer.
