I've been in contact with Bilstein about designing some struts/shocks for us and as of now they have no interest. They said the only way they'd consider it is if people showed interest and sent in request. Please help me get them to build us some stuff.

Hello,
I have installed Bilsteins on 2004 Toyota Avalon, 2016 Toyota Camry, 1992 Ford Mustang and convinced a neighbor to install them on his 2004 Tahoe. Bilsteins are always my 1st choice for shock/strut replacements. Please develop one for the new Ford Maverick. Trucks are always more customizable than sedans and I think Ford will be producing Mavericks for a long time.
Thank you,

Time? They've had time. Bronco Sport uses same struts, all they would have had to do was revalve them but then again they'd have to have built struts for the Bronco Sport. 4 years and nothing aftermarket.

Not the same, similar but different.

You go to your local ford and ask for mav struts, they bring you bronco sport struts. But yeah not the same. 🤷‍♂️

Yeah, the first thing I looked at was if they had Bronco Sport options. If they don't have options for that old of a vehicle that's sold as more off-road capable than the Maverick, I have no hope for us.

I'm down! They need some drop struts and shocks as well. Belltech, Koni, Q1A, anybody listening?

I'm putting Bilstein 4600 Series Struts and Shocks at all 4 corners on my 06 Nissan Frontier ExtendedCab this weekend (just received them last night). It's just an XE 2.5L 4cyl 5spd MT 2WD w/ a mild 1.5" f and 1"r lift (PRGMini LiftKit) and upgraded 265/70R16 wheels/tires. (now if I could just locate a cheap 4.363 diff gear set to get my torque back). My first choice as well.

When I get a Maverick, I'll do a mild 1"f and .75"r lift.

Reviving.

Sure would be nice to get some options, that's for sure. I would have bought a Bilstein setup to get a 1" level on day 1 if they made the option.

I remember that as well. More specifically, someone saying that Bilstein was partnering to release an official lift kit offering from Ford and was being tested- but that was about a year ago. Would be expensive for sure but cool to have an offering that wouldn't void warranty.

EDIT: Found the post
