New windshield-now a new squeak!

My Safelite experience- not good. It took three consecutive appointments for them to get the Ford oem windshield. They had assured me both previous times that they had a genuine oem windshield-they did not. Today (third appt.), they replaced windshield with Ford oem. I am happy camper so I thought. While driving home, I noticed a distinct dash squeak coming from right side of dash. This absolutely wasn't there prior to replacement. I had read many posts about Mavericks having a squeak, rattle, but mine didn't have this issue. I attributed this to it being a '23 model. Stopped truck, and started looking everything over closely. I then noticed gap in the front facing camera cover on right side. It looks like they broke the clip on right side tab- there isn't a metal piece on the clip anymore. Called the store and have an appointment Monday to take the truck back in. Any advice I could give these knuckleheads to stop the squeak?

Is squeak right side of windshield, if so I would want it redone if in the mirror area replace with new part

The squeak is coming from right side of windshield. The camera cover is broken, but not squeaking.

Then redo the window install and replace the broken cover imo

just to fill in a blank, would that be the acoustic windshield with the heating stripe?

if op has lariat, definitely needs replaced with factory SoundScreen windshield, if not I would inquire about the cost to upgrade

The advice I would give them is to tell their service people if they break a clip tell the customer or else they will have pi$$ed off customers. They other advise I would tell them is to order McDonalds hamburgers with no salt. They will have to cook you a fresh burger.

Yes, it was replaced with the heated, acoustic windshield. I'm currently trying to search for the camera cover to know how much it will be to replace. Haven't found it online...just the camera itself.
