Anyone have any ideas how to remove scratches on the interior trim?

This has been covered in multiple posts. Nothing satisfactory can be done.

without a photo, nothing.
scratch appearance can be minimized with product, magic eraser, heat, but sadly not eliminated.

Avoid using a heat gun - I tried that and it did not work well.

Ok then maybe we focus toward preventing the scratches? Carpet overlays bottom of doors? Maybe add a lubricant protectant in hope the object that contacts slides more and marrs less? Ideas? Thoughts?

I think maybe my wife’s ring scratched it when she went to open the door

Reason 1 to pawn that ring then use the money to mod the Maverick.

I have a French Bulldog that likes to lean up on the dashboard. He left scratch marks all over the steering wheel and dashboard of my Rogue. Needless to say he's not allowed in my Maverick.

I read in the Ford service manual that small scratches should be corrected with 800grit sand paper but I'm real hesitant to try it.

I'd like to know how they expect you to "sand them out" and then match the texture this trim has.

Obviously an idea straight from the engineers at Ford. Everyone gets to be a rolling test bed, kinda like the COVID vaccines.

Short of going back in time and teaching Ford how plastics work, nothing. The plastic is absolute trash.
