Working on getting my Maverick sale through my dealer and they are claiming that my farm bureau certificate is ineligible. Has anyone run into this problem before and how was this resolved? I have the certificate and everything, but dealer is claiming in SmartVincent that I am ineligible for the $500 rebate even though the program clearly states that 2023 Maverick is eligible.

Were you a member at time of order? And are you still an active member? While I think you should be eligible under either condition (member at time of order or member at time of delivery), sometimes it is easier if both are true. I do know that depending on if the dealer selects for incentives at time of order versus at time of delivery, that matters. So if you were a member when ordering but are not now, the dealer needs to select for incentives at time of order, not delivery. If the opposite is true (you were not a member when you ordered but are now), they need to select for incentives as of date of delivery, not date of order.

You could try to go in and generate a "new" certificate and see if that helps. I think you can generate up to 5 per year?

Thanks, I forgot about those options in Smart Vincent. I'll have my dealer try selection the option at the time of delivery and see if that works.

And yes, I am an active Farm Bureau member now and will be at the time of delivery, but was not at the time of ordering which was last September.

Are you doing any other incentives or something like the XPlan?

Bet that single radio button in Smart Vincent is the problem. "Time of order" versus "time of delivery".

Your dealer actually may be doing the opposite: selecting incentives at time of order when your certificate, generated in 2023, wouldn't be eligible because the '23 FB rebate wasn't active yet.

I ordered my Mav on the first day the order banks opened. I was not then a FB member. I did join probably about 5 weeks before my truck came in. I got my $500 credit no problem.

I was not a member at the time of the order. I joined 36 days before the day of delivery and was able to get my certificate.

My sales associate had trouble getting my FB membership order entered correctly - he called Ford support and they stepped him through the entry.

I joined the Farm Bureau about 40 days prior to delivery. Everything went smoothly, got the additional $500 off. You need to educate the sales person/dealer!

My dealer wouldn’t accept mine because my military discount and a plan Pricing was already applied.

I ran into this two weeks ago when I picked up my wife's Maverick.

I was not a FB member back in September when I ordered but joined sometime in Febuary(?).

According to the dealership the coupon was not valid for the September order date in Smart Vincent but when they used the April purchase date the $500 FB credit worked, but Smart Vincent then used the current MSRP which was $500 higher after the price increase. Basically a Catch 22 situation where it was only $20 difference either way and that was likely because of taxes and registration. They gave me the $20 lower price.

There was not anyway for me to disagree with what they were saying and they did not try to ding me with any additional markup or dealer add-ons so I let that go.

I don't recall the details but I later looked through old threads and as I recall I saw at least one other post that had a similar problem with the FB coupon.

I guess that's another potential hiccup too. First time I'm hearing about 2023 price protection and the Farm Bureau credit being linked in that way.

I was able to get ‘22 price protection and the $500 FB credit this week when I bought mine. Think I joined the FB in Dec ‘22. I know I generated the certificates in Jan. Not sure if that had anything to do with it. Maybe my dealership is just great to work with.
