Look at the guard rail height difference thru the truck window and the REAL guard rail. There's your answer.

If you look at the second photo, you can see they cut off the KL and put it on top for the back plate.

Ah, so they have a USA oversized shaped plate available for hard to mount plate vehicles, learned something new every day.
I grew up in Europe (Germany) and I remember my dad complaining on the costs to ship to USA and plate our VW bought directly from manufacturers factory. The got the shipping mostly paid, but the plates/holders were on him. He only had a few hundred to drive from Delaware to Kansas on him and large amount was the plates / imports fees. We didn’t get much to eat as he choose gas to get to Kansas first.

Hahaha I test drove my first minivan near Kaiserslautern (KL) and my 91 Taurus SHO motor blew on the drive back to Mannheim. :'-(
(the rod bearings were a known weakness, should be checked/ changed every 100k miles, my SHO died at 172k miles on original bearings. )

This is hilarious and I love it. Mavericks are out trucking larger trucks and being used on race tracks more than many sports cars. It's going to anger the people who diss the maverick so much and I'm all for it.
