I am not debating on purchasing a warranty I will be purchasing one
My question is in regard to what level of warranty in your opinion should I purchase
[I keep a vehicle for a long period , 10 years]
When should I purchase this warranty?
In addition I have seen persons on here buy the warranty from Granger whatever that is
And to even confuse me even more; I have to consider what OIL my Maverick is using
grrrrrrr

Are you intending to get a maintenance plan? That's what your screen shot is. Not an extended warranty.

I bought the premium care warranty. If you're going to be covered for a price, pay the little more for all the way. I got the $100 deductible. It was like $1500 for 8 year 100k. They take points as well so it took about $200 and I didn't need any accessories from Ford direct.

I didn't get the key coverage, I'm probably going to make a third soon so I can have 2 in reserve. Didn't get the light, because by the time I may need it I imagine I will have other options and an LED light isn't likely to go bad.

If you are going to purchase an extended warranty or service plan, do not go through the dealer. It’s much cheaper to purchase the plan directly through Ford after you buy your vehicle.

I purchased extended warranties for both my Bronco Sports through the dealer. First one they tried the hard sell on the whole shebang. Paint, undercoating, keys, etc. It added something like $350/month onto the payment. The math didn't really add up on that. Kept refusing all of it till they offered me a 10 year/150k mile bumper to bumper for $2500 total. Cheap insurance so I took it. The second one last week they just asked if I wanted the same warranty and I said sure. Keep refusing and they offer better deals as it goes along.

I got a 60,000 mile zero deductible bumper to bumper for $899. If something is going to malfunction, it will likely be in the first 60k miles.

By that logic, why not in the first 36,000 miles?

Is there some feature you are going to wait to try out until 59,990 miles? Is there some speed or RPM you are going to wait until 59,990 miles to hit?

Unless Ford starts selling one, I’m not interested
