Chapman/Horsham -- 2022MY to 2023MY rollover orders

My problem is that the Chapman certificate number was in the system, but the local one that I picked up already wasn't. I was able to get the certificate number and is under a different zip so it doesn't show in Smart Vincent. I'm hoping Chapman will be able to add that certificate into the order becaue the one for their order is already used by my dumbass local dealer who took the easy way and used it instead of fixing theirs.

That's terrible! I hope it works out for you. I read the other person's update that their friend found their offer. But yikes, to walk out with a 'maybe' you will get a $2750 offer/maybe not. Holy crap.

He did get to keep the $750 as it was included in his financing.

Can anyone confirm if the documentation fee increased or not? It was $422 but their website now says "ONLY a $449 Pennsylvania REGULATED documentation fee". That would be up a second increase from $394 since 2021.

'Legit' according to this source url included below. It is annually adjusted by CPI. Please note the code specifies/allows a negotiable, not mandated, not to exceed fee.


In accordance with the Board of Vehicles Act, Act of October 24, 2018 (P.L. 816, No. 134), 63 P.S.
§818.327, (relating to licensing cost), the State Board of Vehicle Manufacturers, Dealers and Salespersons hereby provides notice that a dealer may not charge the purchaser of a vehicle a documentary preparation fee pursuant to 63 P.S. §818.327(c) that exceeds the limits set forth below.

The documentary fee:
} is non-taxable;
} may be excluded from a dealer’s advertised price for the sale of a vehicle;
} is a negotiable item, so the actual dollar amount may not be pre-printed on the buyer’s order
} is a dealer-imposed charge, not a state mandated fee; and
} must be disclosed on a sign in the dealership

The documentary fee will continue to be adjusted annually in accordance with the Federal Consumer Price Index. If a dealership’s documentary fee exceeds the permissible charge, the Attorney General’s office may consider it to be deceptive, as to what services are being performed, and may find it subject to enforcement action.

My Lariat Lux, BAP, CP Assist, Roll Up Hard, Remote Start, SI liner was built yesterday 4/24 and will be on its way to Chapman Horsham soon. I’ve been waiting so long, I’ve lost my enthusiasm. I’m sure I’ll have a smile on my face once I pick it up.

Final update on my buddy...he received his $2,750 check from Ford today.

We took it on a 450+ mile golf vacation last weekend and he was at 41.9 mpg for the entire trip. Really impressed with my time in the Maverick, even if it was from the passenger's seat.

Excited for when mine finally gets delivered in the next week or two.

Yup, the subscribe only worked for me on mobile. Desktop never gives me the subscribe option.

So close, yet so far away... I was going to pick up my truck yesterday, but was then called back and told they were out of temp tags and it's unknown when the state will issue a batch to them. Not like they won't be getting any indefinitely, but they're just at the mercy of the state to issue them. He said they get 50 to share between five stores.

May 6 is 18 months from initial order date for me. Really hoping I don't cross that milestone.
