Just wondering, are the temperature display digits on the knobs still gone/none existent. If so, what do you do, pull up a page on the screen to see temp?

I guess I am asking because I show scheduled now, as of the 4/13 email and my interest level is off the zero peg again. Not far off the peg…. But hopefully it will keep moving…. FoMoCo never fails to disappoint, so we will see. That’s sad because I WANT to be fired up……….(shaking head)

If you're disappointed in missing temp dials when your eyes can easily obtain the information about 8 inches above the dials - you need to steer VERY clear of the Maverick.

Not sure about 2023 Mavericks, they have returned to the dials for Broncos.

EDIT: Mind you, this is not a @Ford Motor Company issue - nearly every single auto manufacturer did away with the temp dial displays during the chip shortage/supply chain issues.

I will never miss an opportunity to throw some body blows at Ford, but I think your anger here is misplaced.

Well, ok, if it is on the screen and you don’t have to drill down to an environmental page to see what you have seleced. And to be clear, not ALL mfgrs have left the knobs or next to a paddle selector for temps. At least on a 22 Accord and Toyota. So, THOSE mfgrs had a better alignment with supply chain I guess.

My 2022 Honda CRV Hybrid Touring (fully loaded) did not have the temp dials in knobs - so it would appear Honda did not have a better alignment. I am sure there were some higher priced vehicles from Ford that still featured the dial readouts (I am not calling the Accord high priced).

If you turn the knob, the temp will appear. It may appear by default when in the Sync 3 homepage.

It was a simple hvac controller swap for me to get the temp display on the dials.
Try searching on EBay. I got mine from another member of this forum.

Hi, I may try that if it bothers me enough. Was the swap just a plug and play? Anything to do software wise?

Mine came out of a Bronco Sport and no software changes were required.

It shows on the main screen which is higher and closer to your view of the road so it is actually safer.
Except for when you're in CarPlay mode, then it doesn't show at all, if memory serves me right.

I was not able to use a Bronco Sport one in mine…. I had to go with one from an Escape

It shows up on screen in Carplay mode if you turn the dial.

For me, personally, I roll the window down to determine how hot or cold it is outside ;)
