It is for the AWD crowd only really, but is the FX4 suspension even the slightest bit different than the standard AWD suspension? I mean mainly like sway bars in the front? I am just curious if that is not the common link between all of us AWD guys having issues with our eibach drop springs?

As far as I know it’s only the rear shocks that are different in FX4 vs the standard awd. I myself have the HR super sport lowering springs on my FX4 and have no noise problem that you have (sorry for your issues).

I am curious, why would Eibach's springs cause the issues and HR's not? The drop is very similar and would put the sway bars basically in the same position with either springs. The problem on mine at least has been pinpointed to the sway bar. All factory stock AWD FX4 suspension except the lowering springs.

when you installed your lowering springs are you loosening up the swaybar end link bolts & various control arm bolts? Sounds like you have to much preload on your bushings.

I can't answer that as I am not the one who installed them.

I can’t believe it’s the spring either (Eibach reputable making suspension products for a long time) and not all of maverick customers are having problems either.
