You are right about that. My grandson was back home for a few days and i had gotten my hybrid, so he went to the store with me. He looked at me and said "That is the quietest motor I have ever heard, especially compared to my diesel truck." Had to explain it was in electric mode.

Like going into electric mode when passing bicycles. The roads near my ranch are part of the scenic great Texas bicycle loop route. So lots of riders, even Gov. Abbot hand powered low rider tricycle bike has passed by. With a bunch of guys on security 10 speeds.
