I generally find oem tires to be sub-par at best even if they're from a good company like Continental. These are the exact same tires that came on the Tesla model 3 that I had and in that car they were very noisy but they stuck to the road like glue. On my Maverick they're pretty quiet but they spin pretty easy even in the dry. However they seem to stop and corner very well especially for a pickup truck.

I was going to go ahead and swap them out for something better like a Michelin LTX but after driving in the torrential rain last week that had water that was sometimes bumper deep I found that these tires track straight no matter how fast and how deep the water was. I guess the five Rib highway design kind of works like The keel on a boat and kept me going straight. So I'm going to keep them for 10 to 20,000 miles or until they stop tracking straight in the deep water.

Do understand that I drive for Uber 4 to 8 hours a day in Memphis Tennessee where people drive like they're trying to murder you and the road conditions are horrible. We measure our potholes by the foot here LOL

You couldn't have captured the driving experience in Memphis any better. I was there twice last year visiting in-laws; for someone brought up in the Chicago area traffic, I was challenged to up my game to make sure I didn't become a statistic.
BTW, thanks for the tire report, I will probably keep my Continentals now until the tread can't handle the snow here in Maine.

Just curious... It seems that a lot of people on here don't care for the original Continental tires. Are there any particular reasons? I realize they are not for performance nor off-roading, so if you are doing those things they probably aren't for you. I have about 15,000 miles of basic every day driving on mine and they seem fine. They are relatively quiet and I've never had any traction issues. I rotated them at all three oil changes and the treadwear seems minimal. When the time comes, I probably won't replace them with the same, but I don't have any complaints about these so far.
Not to satisfied, 1 ply.sidewall, where as the full spare(atlas brand ) has 2 ply sidewall.
Never been a fan of single ply sidewalls. You csn see the bulges I'm the sidewall from pic

Those bulges are pretty common across brands. Very happy with mine.

That's from the straps used during transport of the truck.

I removed the Contis and installed Michelin Defender 2 OEM size tires for personal reasons.
The Michelins are noticeably quieter, have a little better on-center feel and handling, and a little smoother ride. I bought the tires at Discount Tire with their guarantee cost(an additional $40 each), and sold the Contis myself. The difference was about the same as the ridiculous price the dealer wanted to service and guarantee the Contis. BTW, I consider auto dealers to be a last choice in servicing tires.

I had to replace a punctured Conti. tire and they were not cheap. I found that they handle really well in rain...very soft ride and will be looking for any that someone want to gets rid of theirs with a replacement. Next tire will the a repeat Conti or Michelins.

I had to replace one due to puncture. Got the cheapest Firestone I could get because I had less than 10k and figured I'd just replace the Firestone with the Continentals at the same time.

In heavy rain I can feel exactly which tire is the Firestone, because it's the only one not ever so slightly slipping.

I'll ride the Continentals out during the summer on the OEM wheels but I have winter rims (Voxx Riva 6-spokes) that I will mount either Firestone Winter force tires or Michelin Alpins on. I've used them both on half of my company leased cars (10 of 19). When the OEM tires are worn, I will go with Michelin Cross Climates for the nice months. I've driven these on the road in all sorts of weather (on my Kia Sportage) and once on a track in warm weather and they are fun, I mean they work well enough to impress a Porsche track driver (my other car is a Porsche Boxster S - all Michelin Sport Cup tires) I have Michelin tires on my motorcycle as well, hell I should be getting some sponsorship $$$$ LOL
