I’m having this exact same issue, almost 30k miles. Never had it happen before just started this winter. I live in upstate NY so it’s cold and snowy. I don’t see any obvious leaks or other issues and it doesn’t happen every time however it seems to be more intense and frequent recently.

Just wanted to comment here that you are not alone, my Maverick does this and several others as well. I have found that using the Rain-X Latitude wipers helps with the issue a lot (no idea why), but they do still skip occasionally. It drives me nuts and I hate driving in the rain because of it.

I have an appointment in a couple weeks to have this replaced but I am nearly 100% confident it will fix it as it has fixed it for other people on here.

Ouch. I have a case open with Ford now too. I was expecting to wait a while. Such a frustrating experience, but thankfully the truck is drivable. I’m ready to dump this as soon as it’s fixed as I just don’t want to keep running into issues.

I did replace the wipers multiple times with different brands/styles and had the same result. The rain-x blades did the best but ultimately the issue was still there.
