my magic 8 ball says it won't get all the Focus ST goodies but maybe

lowered and leveled
3.81:1 drive ratio
upgraded cooling
performance tuned shocks/springs
performance tires
strut brace and rear sway bar
upgraded frt seats with side bolstering
selectable drive Modes, including slippery, normal, sport, eco
no 4K option
What you listed is exactly what I would have opted for if available. I traded in a 2004 Chevy Colorado that had the ZQ8 suspension package for our '22 XLT EB. It came with extra bracing in the frame, wide tires, large sway bars, and a lower stance than a regular Colorado. It would corner like a Camaro. I loved the way it could handle. I'd take a place in line for a Maverick with a similar suspension package if offered.

Throw in a set of Eibach Pro coils and you'll be AMAZED at how well these handle!

you probably noticed 2 things
I made no mention of lipstick items and a glaring mistake, the omission of paddle shifters :D

All we need is a lowered 2.3 6spd Tremor with an air dam!

I wouldn't call the omission of paddle shifters a mistake. We live near an intersection and have heard some cars with that option going through the gears as they accelerate away. To me, it sounds like a lot of abuse to the drive line and engine. Personally, it's something I would probably never use. In fact, our '13 Escape has a "sport" option on the shifter with a pair of buttons for shifting up and down. Neither of us have ever touched it. That's just us. BTW, what do you mean by "lipstick items"?

I told myself I’d buy an ST when it came out but at this point we already have the parts to build something faster. I know warranty and it’s not an ST.
By the time Ford actually announces it and Order start getting filled most of us will be able to build a faster Maverick with parts available. I already have a pre-order in for an aftermarket intercooler with hard pipe and blow off valve kit, and it aftermarket down pipe that is full 3-in and adapts to the Ranger Turbo so I can use the ranger turbo on the maverick. All that together should get me in the 400 horsepower range and a 12 second Maverick

James, you took the words out of my mouth. Our FB group is small so not many people know about us and the other half are just going to throw shade. Yet those of us already in the Mav performance community know what you say is true.

By the time the ST comes out and dealers mark them up 10k, there will be several 12 and 11 second Mavs.

you won't pay markup from a reputable dealer if you order.

you guys heavily modifying indeed won't have as much incentive to upgrade and a lot to lose if you did, as you'll find the market for a heavily modified regular Maverick will be less once a ST is available to order.
___

regarding pricing, if we consider the Tremor XLT non-lux starts at 32K, I could easily see a ST starting upper 30s low 40s if it actually has more power (whether 2.0 or 2.3), paddle shifters, and other valuable upgrades - not just badges.

Me likely! Stance, some power, RWD or AWD..... Talk about fun. Stickshift! Say it, we need a manual option.
I would throw something if they came out with a manual. I got into the Maverick dead pool because my Fiesta ST was slowly rolled over a wall so my wife could pet a dog. Miss it every day lol

I really like the wheels on the truck in the photos.
Are those something that are available elsewhere in the ford lineup?

Maybe paddle shifters that would be nice. Not holding my breath.
That would be easily implemented for Ford considering the Bronco Sport Badlands has paddle shifters with the same 2.0 Ecoboost and 8F35. Frankly I'm surprised nobody on this forum has figured it out via forscan yet but considering my own journey to add HDC to my XL getting my hands on ford firmware for these newer vehicles is impossible without spending big bucks on a 2 day Ford diagnostic software

If they include the dual clutch rear differential and dropped in a 2.3L this would be worth ordering a '24, too.

Best thing I have added is the Progress rear sway bar. I haven’t felt the need for the firmest setting yet, but will try it once the warm weather comes.
