As I sit back and watch, I'm hoping that Ford just gets their a** in gear and builds the orders. I just ordered the Air Lift bags for my 22 XLT hybrid to keep the truck from wallowing while towing the camper, I'm perfectly fine with the factory build and can't see the"lowered stance" as being a good fit for a truck.
Please let me know how the Airlift bags installed. I just spent 2 hours trying to get one in and gave up, took 30 minutes to get out. 4th vehicle with air lift bags, but these new ones are so much more stiff I gave up trying to get them in. Not sending them back just yet, but I'm close. Hoping you found an easier trick to getting them in there.

Jack up the truck to let the weight of the axle and tire stretch the spring, I had to fold the ends toward the middle to slip it through, I have spring spreaders if that doesn't work, used them on a set of McPherson struts I'd overloaded but couldn't afford to replace in 2011 while out of work, Country Boy Will Survive.

Spotted this outside a Ford facility just now, has a Manufacturer plate. Best pics I could get!
Appears to be lowered and wheels appear to have Ford center caps. Also see some sort of equipment on driver dash. The exhaust seemed to have a more aggressive tone.

Also see this previous potential Maverick ST sighting: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...formance-ford-maverick-st-in-the-works.13248/

If they give it a manual transmission I will most likely buy it. I do wish they would make it a 2 door long bed and RWD, but I guess beggars can't be choosers...having a manual transmission is most important of all.

Now that the EcoBoost Mustang no longer has a manual (starting with the new generation Mustang), the Fiesta and Focus have been forgotten.....there is a lack of an affordable vehicle with a manual transmission in Ford's lineup. Please give it a manual, does not have to be the only option, heck... I would pay extra just to get it.

The Explorer ST does get the most powerful engine offered... it just shares that engine with the King Ranch, and Platinum.
Also the Edge ST gets the 2.7 EB, which is much more powerful than the others.
Fords ST Line, vehicles are just base to mid-grade vehicles that they put some lipstick on. I remember considering a Fiesta ST and then finding ST Lines super cheap. About 2 minutes into Google and I realized the ST Lines were basically worthless. If Ford does a legit ST it would most likely be a 2.3, I don't think they would stretch the 2.7 into the Maverick, but we can all hope. We can also pray... or have our best thoughts for a 6 or 7m version but I doubt it would ever happen 😞
Guess I will just have to end up going with the Bronco 2 door base model with a manual, but I am poor and a Maverick is already an extreme stretch.

2door base model MT with a turbo/intercooler upgrade and a tune would be pretty sweet.

Finally got around to trying to install the Airlift bags in in the coils again today. One piece of advice - DO NOT FOLLOW AIRLIFT INSTRUCTIONS! Do NOT squeeze the air out of the bag before installation, SO much easier to install. Just remove the cap to relieve the pressure. When you squeeze the air out, it is much wider than the interior of the coil and cannot be "taco-ed" to squeeze in. Larger coiled vehicles don't have the same issue. Leave the cap off so you can squeeze as needed which keeps the widest diameter smaller. You'll notice Airlift doesn't post a video on the Maverick installation. I think it's because - if the installer was following the instructions - there would be too many *beeps!* ($#&%) in the video.
So far the bags work fine, have about 25lbs in them currently.

One more piece of advice to this is heat them up. I set them out in the sun and put a space heater an inch away from them. Makes them a lot more pliable and easier to work with.
