So my Tremor just delivered yesterday and I hope to pick up end of the week or beginning of next week but I’m looking to order some KO2’ or other pretty aggressive all terrains or mud tires for it and want to see if anyone has nailed down what fits and what doesn’t. Absolutely no plans for a level or extra lift so just stock height. If it rubs at full lock I might be ok with it as long as it isn’t much and would go away once the tire wears a little

Here is a list of tires for the non-tremor Maverick.

https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...-will-fit-the-ford-maverick.7776/#post-160417

If the tire fits the non-lifted truck then you would be good for sure. They list some tires that rub a little or that need some trimming, or that fit with a 2" lift.

When that post was made there was no tremor's in the wild yet so nothing was posted about it. But this should give you a good place to start on thinking about tire size.

Rim offset can have a big impact on fit if you are thinking of aftermarket rims, so be carful about that too.

So I ordered KO2’s 245/70 hey are being delivered Monday and I’m picking up my Tremor Tuesday morning so straight to the tire shop it is. Hope that size really fills in the wheel wells. I hope I don’t regret not trying 245/75

I've seen others with that size and I think they look good. Based on other's experience you will most likely experience rub at full lock although in that size the Toyo Open Country AT3 and Falken Wildpeaks apparently don't rub. I believe 245/75 would have required modifying the wheel well liner and cutting or hammering the pinch weld.

Yep I think I’ll be ok aside from the fact that now I’m worried the tires may be too wide. I was so focused on height I forgot to really check about the width. I absolutely cannot stand for the tires to be even flush or especially sticking out any at all.

Tires stick out on the front even on stock Mavericks.....you will definitely stick out in front with the 245, the rear may be flush.

It’s a crappy pic but all I had time for since today was so hectic and busy. Picked up truck this morning and straight to tire shop. 65 miles drive on factory tires with full tank of fuel thru 4 towns with plenty of red lights and yep I got caught on all of them. Lots of elevation changes on the highway where you’re going uphill for minutes at a time. Using my foot with steel toe boots I may add I averaged 30.8 mpg according to trip computer as I reset it as soon as I was leaving the dealership. Since the new tires I’ve put an additional 35 or 40 miles on it in mostly all city driving and have went down to 27 even. Tires are 245/70/17 BFG KO2’s and I think I chose the correct size to fill out the wheel wells. I think the 75’s to me would have been too much for my liking.

Looks good. Can you get some pics from the front and back of how far they stick out if any? Also did they end up rubbing any?

Your post is a little late LOL. But for me I agree. 70's and more is an awfully tall tire for these little trucks.

No rubbing or other issues? For a test maybe drive up a curb and steer it lock to lock if you got the time.
