Thank you. But I followed the picture in their instructions.

20230227_114336.jpg
I initially mounted my DeeZee assist strut with the piston on the bottom. But the tailgate support cable tended to catch between the bed and dampener, which looked like it was not a good thing. Reversing it, so the piston was on top, seemed to prevent that... So I wound up with the piston on top, which was how it showed in the DeeZee instructions.

You might want to check to see if your tailgate cable is doing the same thing. If so, it's simple to reverse the strut.

PS - Love the Cyber Orange with the black tailgate lettering. It really pops! I've got black letters on my Area 51 as well, but it's not quite the same.... If/when I get my Cyber Orange truck, I'm definitely going with the black letters!

The black letters have a red outline that better matches my hood decal and the FX4 logos. And thanks for the heads-up on the strut!

You're welcome. Let us know if you find it works better the other way around as well... I'm kind of wondering if it depends on the actual cables installed on a given truck, or if it's a "general" thing...

Just printed this bracket for the cubby. Having my phone so far down wasn’t working for me. Other than that I also printed a holder for my garage door opener which was the best thing I’ve done. 3D Maxpider floor mats are great as well.

Could you send me the files for the 3D prints you made? Or direct me where to find them?

Rear seat covers! This was one of the first things I purchased (along with tailgate lettering) for my Mav.

Taking a roadtrip this week to Asheville for the Thumpasaurus concert and needed to give my Mav a wash and a good interior cleaning. My rear seats haven't been sat on since I picked up my Mav in April '22. The rear seats have been covered up since so the dog can have the rear seat to herself. Removed and washed everything and those seats look fantastic!

No plastic scratches except where seatbelts clips bang on the plastic on the driver's side; nothing from the dog's nails.
