Im a little surprised that the seller made more money than the re-seller ??
There is a reason Carvana stock is down $140 a share the past 12 months.

The people paying nearly double for a budget truck or car aren’t the smartest tools in the shed. These aren’t people who have a retirement plan, they are people living off of credit. There are convenience charges, and then there’s idiocy.
Perhaps some are. And others are like my neighbor, who lives in a 4M house and makes half that each year, who's daughter saw my truck and told her dad she liked it and wanted one for college. So he bought one for her.

Would you sell one if you had two?
Maybe to avoid double insurance payments or if I had a garage I'd stick the 2nd one there to keep it mint & unused condition...😆

Yeah... every single person I know involved in the industry says they are gearing up for a ludicrous amount of repos in 2023... its gonna be like mortgage defaults in 2008.

Used cars about to get really really cheap.
They've been saying that for a full year now, yet the needle hasn't moved. Repos were at volumes beyond the ability for the repo-men to handle through 2022, and it hasn't made a difference yet.

I’m sure there are, just like those who buy and flip them while others still wait for their orders.

I sold my Ram to Carvana back in October and got $5k more than I paid for it. Got to drive it for 2 years, 9 months and 24k miles. It still hasn’t sold on there and now they’ve reduced it to a little over a thousand more than what they paid me for it, plus they put new tires on it. I guess some vehicles they make money on and others they don’t.
