Yes your Mav will sell! Carvana and Carmax do not negotiate. They call it hassle free pricing because... they do not want any hassle from anyone about their price. The most I was offered was $28k. I know that Carvana has to make a profit. Do you think they will be able to sell it for that price?
I bet that Carvana will drop the price. I keep getting notifications about price drops on other cars I've looked at.Yes your Mav will sell! Carvana and Carmax do not negotiate. They call it hassle free pricing because... they do not want any hassle from anyone about their price.
If you were offered $28k that must be from other wholesalers. That is like discounting the equity in your stock valued at $10 per share by letting me only pay you $8 per share.
The reality is for the long term, the gas savings over the years on a Maverick is worth far more than a short term profit. That is why I own 2 Mavs that I show on my channel - a hybrid and a turbo AWD. Solves the question of which to buy.
i traded at a dealer like that no haggle price. But there’s nothing that says you can’t haggle on trade, so I got $7,000 more than I gave for my trade that I had bought new 3 years before.Yes your Mav will sell! Tell them to cut you a check for 2 grand and you'll walk. Otherwise, buy it and sell it yourself.WOW, I hear so many bad things about them ,hope all paperwork and $$ go through ok.
im sort of in a "pickle" we are on month 17 of the hybrid area 51 xlt ,one opt trailer hitch. Reordered as a 2023, we did a lot of downsizing , the last 8 months-im 68, and sold the 26ft travel trailer-20ft boat and f- 150 , and a month ago I got a santa cruz SE awd, really hard to find the SE one, but thats what I could afford.- now I get notice that my maverick will be built ( so they say) middle April, so Im guessing dealer gets it sometime late May?? if all goes well- it was for my wife to replace her 2016 kia soul, but alot has changed and now she ,may keep the kia, everone tells me to buy the maverick anyway and sell it, but ,not too tickled ( with my luck,or lack of) buying it have to pay full sales tax -tag it-reg. it insure it, then get the title ,and try to sell it, dealer said WE have to buy it(in our name) or cancel order, (they dont care as they will sell it in a day for more than sticker) we shall see !!
Just checked their stock... I knew they were struggling, but dang. Down 97% from ATHI watch the youtube channel they are predicting Carvana will go belly up soon. CASH that check FAST,.
Looks like you handed Carvana $4,000 for them to flip. I would not give away equity sell it yourself for full retail on CraigsList or AutoTrader it's easy. Wholesale and retail values are on the NADA website.
The people paying nearly double for a budget truck or car aren’t the smartest tools in the shed. These aren’t people who have a retirement plan, they are people living off of credit. There are convenience charges, and then there’s idiocy.Of course. People pay for convenience all the time. Some people would happily pay to not have to deal with the for sure waiting and the possible hassles. Think of how many people are willing to pay $3000 or more for concert tickets. Cutting out everything between wanting a Maverick and getting a Maverick seems a lot more valuable than seeing someone sing songs for 90 minutes.
Im a little surprised that the seller made more money than the re-seller ??Paid $24,100
