What a difference a pair of shoes can make, covered in salt, but got my new wheels and tires on my XL today. Noise in the cab is much quieter and a softer ride too. Lost 1-2mpg on the highway but completely worth it for the comfort. Wildpeak AT Trail, 245/65 on graphite MSW 17" type 85s, couldn't find any pictures of the combo before I bought them so I thought I should share.

Those look great! I was thinking about something similar except I would probably keep the stock tire for now. I just got my XL yesterday and I'm itching to change the steelies.

Congrats! I got mine on the 8th, took a bit to find wheels I liked. I had the best luck on Tire Rack, but Discount Tire's website has a tool where you can preview wheels and choose the color of your pickup which is pretty sweet.

I just mounted these same tires and my new wheels also. This tire is so much nicer and better looking that the poop stock 225's. though now that they are on, I think the next time I need new tires I will go to a 235

That looks great! Those are exactly the same tires I plan to upgrade to as soon as I can also install a 1" leveling kit from Rough Country on my 2022 XLT Hybrid.

Big upgrade well done. Good to note that you are running 245/65/17, which I am also using without any mods. They run great with no rubbing. Max tire size I believe w/o modifications to suspension.

Why would you go with 235s next time?

I just think the 245 is more than this truck needs. Also, aesthetically I think the 235 is the sweet spot. The guys running 255's and above 65 height just looks all wrong on this truck. Plus it sucks up a fair amount of power.

Are the new tires bigger in diameter? If so is the speedometer no longer correct? Not sure if there is some way to correct it? Yea aggressive tread loses MPG. My snow tires lose me 2 MPG on suv I have now . They look great on your Mav.

Are you me?! Lol. Wait I got mine 2 days ago, time flies. I am trying to delay this mod… but it is so tempting.

Ha, so yesterday I was at my friends house test driving his Mav and loved it. Less than an hour later the dealership calls me and they had a cancelled order available. In less than an hour I had a Mav at MSRP. Granted I was on the call list for a few months, but still very lucky.
The steelies on Shadow Black seem to stick out a lot in my opinion. I love the wheel in this post sp my choice is keeping the stock tire for now or getting a 235 or 245. Likely the Wild Peak.
