I can charge my tablet, drill, air compressor off the 12v outlet
If I could run 3,000w off the HV battery and not screw my warranty I'd consider it.
Well, you can. So does that mean you are "considering it"?

eagerly awaiting the schematics
Here ya go:
Blue thingy is the liquid cooled 265 Amp DC/DC converter that replaces a traditional alternator and is capable of feeding the 12 volt system 265 amps.

265A x 13.5v = 3577 watts.
Attach your 3000 watt inverter and have 577 watts to spare

How many amps is the alternator in the EcoBoost? Bet ya a box of Krispy Kremes my alternator is bigger than yours. 😎

nice block diagram but hardly a schematic. problem is I stated I wanted to run off the HV battery not the little wimpy 12v in the hybrid. running consistent 3k watts is likely to burn it out as it's right on the edge of 12v x 265 amps = 3100 watts.

It's not really different if you pump water from the lake to your swimming pool then to your house; or pumping directly from the lake to your house.

One has one pump. One has two pumps. Both provide basically unlimited water.

Beats the wimpy EB alternator now doesn't it. 😎

EB alternator info surprisingly scarce.
What does it have?
I found two variants at parts online.
A $650 one rated at 175 Amps.
A $549 one not rated in the description!
🤣

Maybe I'm not the target audience, but I never even considered the hybrid, and would not have gotten one even if there were 50 on the local dealership lot at half the price. What mattered to me was that it was small (meaning easy to maneuver in traffic and park), handled relatively well, had awd, could tow 4k pounds, had a fairly well-tested drivetrain, and had the same power as a small-block v8 from the 90's.

I'd have viewed a hybrid as a complete negative for my purposes. If a Bronco with the v6 was rated for 4k towing, I'd have gotten that. If the maverick offered a naturally aspirated performance engine from the cyclone or coyote engine families, I'd have been willing to spend a ridiculous amount for it.

I personally think there are 3 primary buyer types for the maverick: those who really love hybrids and/or EV's and prioritize mileage; those who want/need a competent new truck and would prefer a bigger one, but view the maverick as more economically viable while doing everything they really need ; and those who genuinely wanted a small, relatively simple high-performance awd vehicle that could do truck-ish things, with neither price nor fuel economy being primary concerns.

Nothing wrong with any of the categories. To the contrary, it's absolutely amazing that Ford managed to build something that, in different trims, has such a wide appeal. In some ways, I think it does much of what the original Mustang did in its time. It offers an aesthetically pleasing, affordable option that suits a large swath of the population, with no real competition.

Nothing wrong with the above post.
The two versions are REMARKABLY similar. Too close of cousins to marry outside of a few southern states. 😜

Side by side they will look the same.
In a quarter mile drag race they will perform the same. In daily commutes they will perform the same. I even think towing 2000 lbs they will perform the same.

Towing 4000 lbs, EB slight advantage.
In a blizzard, AWD EB slight advantage.

Always, while driving, Hybrid wins Fuel Economy advantage.

Since I drive every day, tow occasionally, and am in a blizzard never, Hybrid is ideal for me.

I wouldn’t have bought one if they only the hybrid. I probably would’ve just kept my base Bronco order instead of cancelling it when I ordered my Mav

I predict the product planning folks thought that AWD/2.0 would be 75% of demand and it worked out to like 38% of demand.

I don’t see the sense in using a traditional driveshaft-driven rear differential on a hybrid. It makes more sense to have an e-axle.

Don't be deterred by those appliance drivers motoring around with their eyes glued to the regen meter, they just don't get it. The current ice Maverick is at it's base a C2 Focus with the ST engine. One C&D reviewer likened the Tremor to a rally car only lacking some AWD reprogramming. The 2.0L Ecoboost is an eager engaging engine with heart, a pleasure to drive. My BMW owning son calls the 2.0L in my wife's Escape a beast.
