And it is the same price no matter where you live, Arizona gets the same D&D as a dealer in Maine.
I live in Hawaii and paid the same D&D as everyone else.

Someone has to pay for the big price cuts on the Mach Es... I think we're the someones.
The Mach E prices will go back up now that the price ceiling has been raised to 80k for tax rebate.

It is a good move,,, he said those at this dealership with a deposit will get priority 10,,, believe it or not but that can make a difference. Just like Tim did with rollovers, early orders got lower priority and went up the later your order date was. Every little possible advantage helps.
Except priority 10 should be reserved for 2023 carry overs if that dealership has some.

I don’t think ford is doing rollovers anymore, or price protection. I’m pretty sure if you don’t get built for 2023 then you have to start all over and pay the new price, which I’m sure will be another couple grand again.

Ok I remembered private offers were going away but come to think of it I believe you are right. No more roll overs either.

Yeah so everyone that has been waiting since 2021 to get one gets screwed over. I imagine an XLT hybrid with no options will be closer to 30k for 2024. Honestly that prices me out, I’d rather spend 10k more and get a tacoma. Or 3-4k more and get a hybrid Rav4, at least they offer awd.

@fordvideoguy If I have my Window Sticker, dated mid January and is in “production” status, would that serve as use for price protection?

Why would they do this when order banks are not open? In practice, it's doesn't seem like it should impact many (if they are protected). So...maybe..either:
a) A growing % of customers are not accepting their orders
b) Order banks going to open soon again
c) Can't think of another (insert good reason here)..
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing.

My understanding is the dealer initially pays the full invoice price of the vehicle as established at its time of production. Then they have to file for the price protection reimbursement and receive (some amount of) that difference from Ford.
Thanx

My Maverick was shipped on 1/25/23 and is now pending delivery and final prep. Using Ford's online Vehicle Order Tracking tool, I have viewed/printed my Window Sticker. Today my window sticker pricing remains unchanged, despite the 2/1/23 price increase. I presume that's also a solid indication that my dealer should be adhering to the pre-2/1/23 pricing.

When I view/print/save my window sticker the current (effective) date is included at the bottom of the window sticker. Hopefully that effective date is also a solid indication that the pre-2/1/23 pricing remains unchanged.

It also helps them to increase the price gradually throughout the year, so the 2024 price bump doesn't look as big.
Seems like alot of work when all current orders are price protected. On my 22 I has to wait until the dealer got the check and sent it to me. That meant I had to pay sales tax on msrp. And as we know many got screwed on the price protection.

Effective today, all trims had a price increase of $400 and Destination and Delivery increase of $100. You should be price protected by your dealer if they COVP'd your order. The person who ordered the vehicle needs to be the person who buys it to get price protection. I would request the DORA sheet from the time you ordered from your dealers. If they don't have it, they can be reprinted by the General Sales Manager or Inventory Manager.
Question: If the dealer won't recognize the price protection, is there any sort of official documentation from Ford we can bring to the table?

So far …. I really think you nailed it. I went with small dealership, lowest cash down. I asked last week my priority ( 10) and allocations (0)
How can you have 0 allocations? Is that what they have left?
