So I've searched a good bit on here and there are plenty of topics on how to get X plan and if the Maverick qualifies for it (it does), but I haven't seen anything on the discount that X-Plan provides you for the Maverick itself. (Spoiler alert - it's not great!)

Beggars can't be choosers right? It's a discount......

For 2023 the X-Plan discounts for Mavericks are as follows:

Ford Maverick 2023 Maverick X-Plan Pricing 1675687218551

That is a discount ranging anywhere from $203 - $340, and then they limit the doc fee. That is roughly a 1% discount off MSRP

Taking a look at F-150 X-Plan pricing, the discounts are much greater $1,209 (3.6%) - $5,440 (6.4%):

Ford Maverick 2023 Maverick X-Plan Pricing 1675687621081

It's still an easy choice for me - $35 to save $256 so $221 to the plus.

I think overall though, it shows the razor thin margins that Ford is working with on the Maverick, there isn't a lot of fat to trim off the price and still make a profit.

EDIT: per @dalola and @skadizzle - X-Plan pricing is dealer invoice - 0.4% + $275 doc fee.

That doesn't seem to line up with the actual discount listed for the Maverick on the ford partner site - BUT - others like (@NoCoolNameDave) have reported a greater discount.

So - YMMV

I got my Tremor with an X-plan and I'm pretty sure I got about $700 off. It also limits the dealers document fees which can save you more than the discount in some cases.

Exactly, doc fee limit saved me $800 alone here in Virginia, then I saved about $500 on my XL. Well worth it at a time when people are still paying over MSRP for these things and all it takes is an in depth look at all the cost cutting on the Maverick to realize how thin the margins are on it.

My dealer couldn't/didn't know how to apply X-Plan pricing with the 2022 Price protection pricing.
Since I already had the $500 Farm Bureau rebate and MSRP, I was fine with it due to the small discount anyway.

Correct. I mentioned the doc fee savings as well.

When I bought my Bronco my doc fee was only $175 so it'll save me another $75.

It's just interesting to see how little they have to play with on the margins.

If you only have a bare bones XL, then Farm Bureau is probably the way to go. If you have a loaded up Lariat like me it's about $800 in savings, without the doc fee.

X-plan is .4% under invoice, so the higher the MSRP, the more you save.

I saved about $1000 on my AWD Lariat Lux.

Farm bureau doesn't address doc fees in states like mine that approach $1,000 allowable doc fees. Also, Farm Bureau is not able to be combined with X-plan although my Veteran's discount was which saved me another $500 on top of X-plan discounts.

I still don't understand their take on a "Veteran's Discount."
Should be called "Recently discharged Only Veteran's Discount."

"The Ford Military Recognition Program is available for service members whose separation date is 24 months or less."

I've been out 20 years, so was not eligible.

I'm not sure that X-Plan is .4% under invoice across the board. I can't find anywhere on the partner site to verify that and the discounts listed don't match up.

Same here, though I'm coming up on 30 years now.

In my case I'm a service connected disabled vet out since 95. Not eligible.

Still rocking the X-plan that one can get thru DAV, so that works.

What is an "X-Plan"? Sorry for my ignorance

The A-plan is a better discount. Plus your options get discounted as well as the invoice pricing and doc fees. Don't forget you drive pay holdback and you save on taxes some too because the total is lower. I saved about $1400 on my XLT.

Since my dealer doesn't charge a doc fee, I'm guessing I would save more simply by making sure my trade-in is cleaner.
