I picked up my Maverick 2 weeks ago from Granger, and they couldn't stack my farm bureau and private offer. No biggie.
I had an address change when I rolled over, so no private offer was generated for me. Me and Granger both worked to get one before I flew in to pick it up, but Ford Corporate was screwing us around. I got there, and they honored the private offer out of their pocket, and was going to continue fighting Ford for it for reimbursement.
You'll hear only good things about them from me!

Thank you! You have given me hope. I keep hearing over and over in these threads of people saying that their private offer couldn't be found but that they bought the truck without it and will keep after their dealer to get reimbursed. You are the first person that I've read about making the dealer honor the private offer and letting them now chase down the money for themselves.

My Maverick is being built as we speak and I have been hounding my dealer about my missing private offer since late December. I will give them 2 more weeks before I go into the dealership in person and make sure that they agree to honor the private offer if it still hasn't shown up by the time my truck arrives. I have a MY22 VIN that got cancelled, so I know that they did the COVP approval correctly and there is absolutely no reason that I shouldn't get a private offer. There is no way I am going to finance the extra $2,750 and pay interest on it.

I'm picking up my truck on Monday from Granger. I have been sending them certificates (3 in total) from the Farm Bureau program from the beginning order of 11/15/2021 (one at order, one at re-order in 9/22, and one after 01/04/23). It's my understanding the certificate has to be from time frame the order was placed to work in Smart Vincent. I don't think you can just walk in and say "here's my FB member number, where's my rebate?".

It ended up being moot because my son got a college discount certificate of $750, which did indeed stack with the private offer, but couldn't be combined with the FB discount. But Granger had the FB on my original purchase authorization. I think everything has to line up in Smart Vincent for the rebates to work. Shelby at Granger had everything lined up and ready to go with no SNAFUs.

The FB discount can also be applied for directly from Ford after the purchase. Go the https://fordrecognizesu.com/farmbureau/Registration/Enroll site and follow the path for "already purchased".

Here is the part of the PA showing the rebates, $2750 for PO and $750 for college.

OP, I get you're annoyed at the problems. But the farm bureau not stacking isn't causing your payments to go up a bunch. $500 across 36-72 months isn't a huge delta.
$500 is $500, no matter how far you spread it out. Actually, that is not correct, it becomes even more when you spread it out.

No comment on the correctness or incorrectness of stacking the discounts.

I'm not sneezing at $500. I joined farm bureau just to get the savings. My point was that the complaint isn't realistically due to a higher monthly payment. That is fairly small. That's the ploy the finance people make to try and up sell. The point is its money, and that matters. $500 plus interest is real cash. They should honor it if allowed.

They refused to do that for me.
Said I had to file for an exception.

Did they give you information or a phone number or something to proceed forward with to even do that?
From everyone I talked to in my couple days worth of dealings to get mine, the customer can't actually get to anyone that can fix the missing PO. The dealership has to talk to their inventory specialist, or alternatively call the number at the bottom of the smartvincent screen

The dealer said they would file for me. No idea how long that will take to process.

We’re hoping … hopeful … that our private offer is going to come through this week, after it seems we have finally gotten the sales manager to understand what’s going on and he’s actually talked to someone at Ford who explained how to resolve the problem.

(Apparently caused by a small difference in how our name was entered between the MY22 and MY23 orders.)

Frustrating because we have known our private offer was missing for more than a month — but clearly (thanks to this forum) we have had a much better understanding of it than anyone at the dealership did.

Problem compounded by our original sales rep going out on disability leave, followed by the dealership getting a brand-new Ford inventory specialist. Not a lot of good communication going on.

We finally got the sales manager involved, whose first call to us was to say he needed the private offer certificate number we were sent ... when the problem was, we had never received the private offer certificate number. Which I thought we had already explained. A number of times.

Anyway — I urged him to please, please actually talk to someone at Ford who could explain what needed to be done. Emails and voice mail messages clearly were not getting anything done.

Finally on Friday he told me that he had to file for an exception, and proceeded to explain it all to me in a way that convinced me (more or less) that they finally had a grasp on it.

Particularly frustrating because our XLT is sitting in his lot, waiting for us. We’ve seen it, touched it, sat in it, started it up.

So we are hopeful … hoping … to bring it home this week. We’ll be stopping back in there again tomorrow.

Sounds similar to my experience. I went ahead and took mine home. I am hoping that I actually end up getting my pvt. offer. Too bad this has become such a bad ordeal when all we wanted was the truck we ordered way back Sept 21.

Just picked up my Truck from Granger yesterday. I had the $1750 private offer (I had called ford marketing and got my private offer "code" and emailed that to Granger a number of weeks ago) and also had farm bureau- joined in November 2022- (printed off 2022 and 2023 forms and emailed both of them to Granger prior to pickup). Both rebates were honored. Amazing experience at Granger. In and out in around 20 minutes.
