I wanted the drop-in bedliner to my XLT but my dealer said it would delay production so I'm going aftermarket.
after seeing a video about Ford's accessory site I went there and they have a Modular liner but no image
I'd like to know what it looks like.

Friends don't let friends buy drop in bedliners. Don't do it!
As someone with a spouse that likes to buy furniture off craigslist, I really have to disagree. They have their place. Being able to just lift things into the bed then slide them around is an awesome feature.

I'm getting the spray in since it came with the lux package, but I'll miss that.

The issue with those plastic drops in bed liners is, they trap moisture and then you have a huge rust issue. Now, if you spray the best with rust-proof protection, then place the bed liner you won't have the problem.

I have an 08 and that's not an issue. 🤷‍♂️

I also like the plastic drop in liners. I load up big rocks by hand & can just slide them around on these.

Had drop in liner on my 99 S-10. Pulled it off 12 years later to install a shell, no rust. Some spots where it had worn the paint from vibrations. Also was in an area with rain, snow & salt.

I'd like to see what the tray liner looks like.

I had a drop in bedliner in an F150, never will again. HERE is a video showing the same problems I had but mine was even worse.

I think some of the drop-in bed rot concerns are overblown. We've got some 25+ year old trucks in the work fleet that are mostly fine beneath the liners. They primarily get used during the warm months, but anything that was seeing lots of salt would more likely get compromised from the bottom.

My Ranger is an 05 and it's fine which is why I want one for my new Maverick.
My wife has been nervous about the delay from FORD for the drop-in bed liners

I had a drop-in bedliner in my 1998 Ford Ranger SuperCab which I had for 16 years and had no issues with water or rust.

I regularly washed my truck and drop in bedliner at a self car wash with those high power sprayers. Never any issue with water or rust.

I’m getting spray in but I’m just curious, it’s called a hard drop in. Can it be easily taken out and put back in?
