What adapter did you get to be able to add the CD player? I still have sooo many CDs...
It's plugs right in the USB port under the hvac controls, so easy, no wires to cut or tape. I'll try to get a picture in the near future.

How about an access cover for the oil drain plug & filter on the 2.0 Ecoboost?

Mine is still a work in progress… thanks @Ford Motor Company for giving us a nice flat surface to work with (Not!). 😂

I have to update the 3D printer model to fix some holes before posting the files. Working on the filter access next… stay tuned!

Not only is a very inconvenient using CDs, but it's also dangerous to swap them while moving, and leaving the cds and player in plain sight is just bait for any crackhead to break in.

If you have anything that isn't on spotify just rip yourself and play the files with your smartphone.

If you're concerned about quality, spotify can download in ultra high quality which will be indistinguishable from cd quality especially with a stock Maverick stereo.

DANGEROUS???? Oh my that's really grasping, I think the touch screens & phones in vehicles are more of a problem. I don't change them while I am driving, before I leave I pick one, & if there is nothing to listen to on the radio bands, I have something to listen to, I also keep them out of sight in the center console or 'glove' box, I was never one of those people that had them hanging from the sun visors. I have no idea what a spotify is & I am sure I don't need to, I just got my first smartphone a couple months ago, I can now make & receive calls & send a text. Like John Candy's character said in the movie Splash, "when I find something that works, I stick with it!"

I'm not saying that you or any adult can't choose an appropriate moment to change a CD. But, yes, it should be very obvious that grabbing the portable unit, opening it, removing the disc, putting it away, getting out another disc, inserting it and hitting play is a whole lot of time with your eyes and both hands compared to using a touchscreen or voice assistant.

This is not the type of CD player I am using, this unit is firmly mounted to the bottom of the dash under the HVAC controls & looks like a factory install & requires one wire to plug into the USB & is operated by the Mavericks radio/steering wheel controls, sorry if I didn't clarify that, & you are right one of those portable discman types would be a distraction for the driver, it slides around then you drop the CD & then, bang!

Let me see if I can remember all of them:

Black tailgate lettering
Added cruise control switches and programmed with Forscan
Gator tri-fold tonneau cover
Horse mat for bed liner
Stainless steel eye bolts for eight added tie-down points
Lasfit Switchback amber turn signal/white DRL
LED strip @ top of grill (DRL)
Two LED lights @ center of grill on either side of Ford emblem (DRL)
Sport EcoBeast sticker on each side rear
Husky WeatherBeater front and rear floor mats

I think that's it.

I had CD players and cassettes for 35 years never had even a close call due to them. I agree they are inconvenient but dangerous, I think a coin tray is more dangerous.

Well we will see, hopefully
If you replace the speakers and add a sub you will have to install sound deadening material. The trucks rattles like crazy. It did make it way quieter from road noise as well. You just don’t know until you install it. Before installing it, it was a little louder than my wife’s model three. Now it’s quieter than the model three.

Well this is my list

1 Took those crappy Continentals tires off and put Wild Peaks on

2 Bought a complete set of LEDs from lasfit and replaced all my lights

3 Put a good phone holder in my cubby and connected my Android to the radio.

4 Put DLRs on the from of the Maverick

5 Put chrome letters on tailgate. MAVERICK

And lots of other thing 🙂👻

I did the chrome lettering on my Area 54 Mav, looks great, much better! I'm wondering - do the Wild Peaks tires add a lot of noise on the freeway?
