See, you made the mistake of thinking a company is doing what's good for their customers and long term growth vs doing what's good for their short term bottom line.

Whoever signed off on the whole private offer BS should be fired.
Ford may have done a shitty job at handling the cancelled hybrids mess and private offer situation but in this case they actually were trying to do what's right for the customers. At least we did get a private offer. (even if it has been a struggle to find it for some) Anyone who has an unscheduled order at the end of this production year is going to be left with nothing to show for it because they aren't going to be doing any kind of private offers anymore.

False alarm...Ford thinks they delivered the truck to the dealer but the dealer says it is in Jacksonville FL. Hoping for first of February and it is still up in the air as to if I will get the $2350 rebate offer or not. Sad...Ford sad

Yeap, probably me. Now, as of yesterday, my dealer admits they don’t have a clue if they ever even COVP my 2022 order and that only Ford now has that information. Plus magicly the sales manager heard from Ford that day and they said they update the system, I infer to change a certificate offer from a Lease offer to a rebate. Of course, it cannot yet be seen as the system is updating.

When I then emailed the GM, whom had not ‘yet’ read the email I sent yesterday, called me and was like…what we are trying to do is get this resolved…totally dismissing the face that if they did not COVP my 2022 order it would never have been scheduled to begin with thus meaning not built and not .9/36mth finance offer if built in year 2022.

This is WHY we HATE most car dealers. They just give you the run around until it is too late to get matters resolved and it would appear do all they can to deflect if they screwed up.

This is why we have to get on their case continually and make sure they are on top of things. I call it "landlord mode" from when I had rentals: You're either a chump or an a$$hole. Stinks, but that's the way it is with a lot of things these days.

I think I let you know this on the other mssg board as well... but dealers do certainly still have access to the COVP info on 2022 Mavericks. I doubled checked and can see all of ours.

Well, now they say my 2022 xlt hybrid order was COVP on 11/15/21. Hope that made any ford 'cut off' date for a private offer for my built 2023 model shipped out to my dealer. Don't recall what that cutoff date was if there was one back in 2022.

Same Boat here. Ordered on 10/30/21, Ford acknowledged , COVP on 11/12 and still no "private offer". I just spoke with Marketing (who was great to speak with), who could not find the offer either, and they said it appears my son meets all the requirements, so it is now up to the "Dealer" to follow up with the "Ford Facing Resources" representative to get it in place. I have zero confidence that they will do it but I did reach out today. They originally wanted to wait until the truck is delivered and then do it, but $2750 is a big deal for a trade school student and he will have waited nearly 500 days, by delivery time, and he wants his truck. I certainly hope it materializes. The Truck is built, is shipping soon, so we have about 4 weeks-5 weeks or so. I just hope my Ford Dealer steps up. It will be very upsetting if not.

Sad - Why do they make this buying experience so painful. Is it in the hope that those who qualify for a private offer just give up. My truck has shipped and after numerous calls , emails and visist to the dealer - I still do not have my private offer. In my case, I can see the dealer is trying but the Ford Rep is not responsive . Out of ideas on what to do next ?

Darn, my xlt hybrid is now at the dealer and they left a message though private offer is still MIA. I hate when Ford screw us. Makes me feel odds of getting a private offer drops a lot once I drive the truck off the dealer lot. Not one that exactly trust dealers, nor Ford now days.

My Maverick is a week out and my private offer just showed up. Big relief. Maybe if doesn't show till it's shipped?

Unless, of course, I get my private offer.

Large corporations are an example of entropy increasing. I recently retired from Boeing, largely due to frustration with so many different policies and procedures, all developed by well-meaning people largely ignorant of the actual cost and impact. So much was left to interpretation of support staff, so the procedures you followed while managing a job last month may not be acceptable this month.

Picking up my truck tomorrow and no private offer generated - been calling and ,emailing and visiting the dealer weekly since putting in the replacement MY23 order in September 2022. Original order placed in Dec 21
What can you do - Ford customer support sends me back to the dealer and they point to the mysterious Ford Rep (Sales and inventory specialist) . Costing me an extra $1800 😩
Reached out to Tim Bartz and co gave some helpful advice but it all comes down to the Ford Rep not doing the necessary

I'm in the same boat here. My truck showed up with no private offer showing even though it was there less than a month ago... Dealer seems to be on top of it, but still stinks. He's reached out to the rep and they said it would be 24-48 hours.
