More pictures coming from every angle but just wanted to comment on how solid feeling it is. Has anyone else noticed this?

It just rides 'better' to summarize.

I sold a 22 FX4 to CarMax and had this the same day.

Congrats!
It probably does ride better with the tuned suspension.
wait till aftermarket catches up... ,fox, Halo and such put Ford to shame and Elka rides and handles better than the whole lot of em. The F150 boys mostly sell the Tremor setup and upgrade

Honestly, I am not sure you aren't experiencing confirmation bias due to the excitement over your beautiful new truck.

The Tremor has an off-road tuned suspension that I would expect to be a bit stiffer than stock on the pavement. But since I haven't driven the Tremor and you have, I obviously can't say your're wrong.

I currently have an FX4 and have a Tremor on the way. I really like my current truck and am not sure how I feel about the black/blue/gray hodge podge interior on the Tremor. But I will give it a test drive and inspection when it shows up and am open to making the switch if the numbers makes sense.

Did you get a good deal for your old truck from Carvana? Last I checked with them on my truck, the offer was really low ball...

My Raptor is easily the best riding truck I've ever owned and like this Tremor has reduced tow and payload ratings. Softer springs and tuned shocks with decent bump stops do the trick. The Idea that off road trucks need stiff suspensions is dated old tech. Stiff suspensions turn you into a bobble head doll offroad.

It has softer springs than other Mavericks, Ford says they're better offroad. Also part of the reason why it can't be optioned with 4K tow (in addition to smaller BS Badlands radiator).

Ford has already come out and said that the Tremor springs are softer than stock.

That background behind your Tremor… ! 😍 Something about it just looks real good. Great photo! Beautiful truck!

Sometimes I think I should’ve gone the Tremor route myself, but I’m very happy with my Mav. 🥰

I hope you enjoy your ride!

It is technically stiff, but on the shock side of things. The soft springs allow it to react quicky but the high pressure shock make the reactions planted and precise. Back in the day the money wasnt there to make the shocks better so they just added more cheap ones, it kinda worked but just made things heavier and it just couldnt react as fast as moder soft spring/strong-stiff shock setups.

OP. So glad you enjoy the feel of it. My brother worked on designing those shocks, I cant wait to feel em work for myself.

i didn't see this part of your comment until now - i mentioned i traded in my fx4 and had this 1hr later because i truly dont think thats what im experiencing but maybe im wrong.

i will wait for more users that driven both to compare; but to me the truck feels more solid/stable/smoother. i am an amateur so i was initially thinking it was just the different tires and "new awd system" that i could be feeling. but suspension makes a lot more sense.

i think it is the whole package (tires+diff+suspension) combining to deliver that feeling though.

maybe im crazy lol but theres a few other posts suggesting im not!

It may in fact "ride" slightly better due to the softer off-road suspension. It will also slightly degrade the on-road "handling" for that same reason. There are always compromises and trade offs, depending what you want to accel at.

Correct the Tremor has an off-road tuned suspension - but you have it backwards - an off-road tuned suspension will be softer than stock on the pavement - along with the Wildpeaks that will eat up more of the road imperfections.

I fully expect the Tremor to be the best on-road ride for Mavericks to date.

I am hopeful that Fox or Bilstein put out some shocks that are direct replacement for the Tremor.

I would think Bilstein definitely has something in the works.......they make great suspension products and usually cover a really wide variety of makes and models compared to Fox. Bilstein is a great compromise of price and performance while also offering adjustability.
