221 miles and then the service engine soon light

4 days in and now I have a loaner…. Dealer will check it tomorrow. I thought I would have got a little further before I needed a service. Quality is Job one! Or maybe two…

There already is a TSB that mentions issues with the EGR valve - tsb-22-2493-issued-for-2-5l-hybrid-maverick-grabby-brakes-at-or-below-6-2-mph.24977. DTC P0402 would leave a message just like that one in FordPass.

Probably just software updates and potentially the EGR sensor replaced. All covered under your warranty. Feel free to search on here for P0402 or EGR to learn more.

Sucks that it happened so early but it's good they were able to hook you up with a loaner in the interim.

The same message happened to my maverick. Built 10 Sep. Delivered 18 Oct. First message on 31 Oct. EGR replaced on 20 Dec. Had loaner vehicle (Escape) for 5 days.

Not a one. Well not quite accurate. On 02 Jan 2023 the deep sleep mode message came on but I only drive the vehicle once or twice a week and not very far. (10 miles)

2022 hybrid. Just got my first "Deep Sleep" message(s). I'm hoping it's due to lack of driving long enough distances to charge up the HVB. I have a few long drives today, so we'll see.
