No complaints with my Gator FX3 hard tri fold cover. Bought a year ago for $720 at Realtruck, may be slightly more now.

I started looking at the trifold because I liked that you didn't have to retract it all the way for loading. But the blocking of the rear window when fully retracted was something to consider. That being said, I have driven cargo vans for years with no rear windows.

It was the flapping I was concerned about, I think I saw it in another post. While where we live doesn't have any real security issues, I do like the aluminum supports and locking mechanism on the TruXedo and Bak. Thank you.
You’re welcome.
I notice the flapping around 45mph; especially with the rear window open. I just could not get the cover tight enough, and still latch.
One other thing: if you plan to use a bed extender, which I do not, posters say the X4S levers get in the way of just flipping the extender around. So you would need to take it out and put back in. This is why some have picked the CT over the X4S.
Some also pick the CT over the X4S because of the canvas material. For me, I didn’t like the canvas on the Pro X15, seemed to attract skin cells when running hand over sides to seal the Velcro. Some say the 303 protectant helps with that.

This is my first posting, but I've been following the Maverick Truck Club forum since I ordered my Alto Blue Lariat Lux, BAP, Co-Pilot, CP Assist, on September 16, 2022, new order. There is tons of info on the forum, so while I'm almost positive the information I'm looking for has been posted on here before, I figured I'd stick my toe in the water, join the crowd, and re-ask a few questions.

I realize after reading MANY posts, that patience is the only way to go regarding The Wait. But a little pre-shopping for accessories keeps me occupied. In question are the options for tonneau covers and bed mats. I've kinda leaning toward:these:

Bed Rug XLT Bed Mat This one seems a bit more "plush" and probably easier on my knees $210.00

TruXedo Sentry CT Cover I originally saw this one suggested on an earlier post here, but the price seems to have gone up, and I don't see it on Real Truck. $1050.00. I don't see an application for Maverick for the TruXedo Pro 15 that someone mentioned. I'm liking the roll up vs. the tri-fold.

Install directions for the TruXedo Sentry CT via YouTube He doesn't quite follow the directions, but it looks simple enough.

Has anyone had these for a long enough period to provide some feed back? There was mention of a discount for MTC members, but if not, any suggestions for where I could get a competitive price?

Thanks in advance! I hear that Ford is only scheduling hybrids tomorrow, 1/12/23. Fingers crossed.

Thank you, this looks great! I see they have several finishes available, too. I like the matte black. Any issues so far? I notice from the install videos that there is no bulkhead gasket that some of the others use. Any water issues?

None so far, this tonneau is outstanding on this vehicle, 10 seconds to remove.

Put the Backflip MX4 on a little over a week ago, love it. Quality is excellent, easy installation, and rock solid. I have the FORD bed mat which fits perfectly as well and it already had the tie-down cut outs. I recommend both.

Thank you. I looked at the installation instructions, the BakFlip has drain tubes. Compatible with SIBL? Tim did an install video with the Ford trifold, looks like smaller tubes fit into bed corner openings. I think the Ford bed mat is a BedRug product? I pulled the Ford mat off at the time of ordering in September due to constraints, now not an issue, I guess.

I have the soft roll up. Vanish by Access Covers. Cost was 416 dollars with tax. Have not had water problems. My problem is with dust coming in on the tailgate sides.
Does take up interior box space. Removal time and reinstall time about ten minutes.
Good visibility out the rear window. Had it five months and no problem with tension so far. Lo-Profile

My bed liner, Thru amazon, is a Flymotor Custom Fit for Car Cargo Mat 2022 Ford Maverick All Weather Cargo Liner Rear Trunk Liner Non-Slip TPO Odourless Black.
It has a raised lip all the way around, and I was able to easily cut the two spots over the front bed bottom hooks to access them and yet leave a flap to cover them when not in use. Total cost was 78.26. Sadly currently unavailable.

Amazon's replacement for the Flymotor is the Mixsuper. It cost a little more, but is essentially the same. Link:

Can you open and close the tailgate with the cover closed?

Nice truck, thanks for the pictures. I like the visibility feature. This cover looks more taut than others I've seen. Glad I ordered a Lariat.

Lots of options out there, but then probably lots of time before scheduling. "Only" 4 months and counting.

Yes, unless the doors are locked, which also locks the tailgate.
That's good as most soft roll ups you need to close the tailgate first and then the cover.
