What size did you go with?Finally got around to swapping out the stock Pirelli on my fx4 and made the switch over to the falken at3/w, have to say, best investment by far when it comes to the maverick, these tires just eat up snow trails

I’ve had two of these on different trucks and they’re nice. I especially like being able to fold back halfway or all the way. Thanks for the sharpie tip. I ordered same plate and I’ll apply the same technique.Minor stuff today. I made velcro mounts for my catch can drain hoses. I also made velcro mounts for my Wile E. Coyote figurines. My friend Dan who passed away gave these to me a few years back. Wile E. Coyote was his hero and mine as well. I also installed a radio dress up plate to correct the unfinished look around this part of the dash. The light grey plastic could be seen around the edges so I painted it up with a sharpie to hide it before installing the trim piece.
I do not understand why Ford did not make that power point active with the ignition instead of being active all the time. I know on my Jeep I got the choice with just moving the fuse in the fuse box.Before I could load up my chainsaw sled (fits nicely crossways just inside the tailgate) to go help with habitat improvement work on a local trout stream, I had to jumpstart my deeply sleeping Mav. I had not driven it for about 5 days, but still, it seemed very sad for a truck this age.
It is a no-frills hybrid, and I was very happy to receive the seat heater/massager for Christmas. I thought the seat heater was off when I put Mav to bed a few days before, though it was still plugged into the 12v outlet, so maybe that was the drain.
I had a couple friends standby after the HI work was done to give me a jump if it died again while we were working, but it started right up. It did, however, get stuck in the snow and required my pals to push me out twice before I got underway.
On the way home, I got a portable jump starter to keep in the truck with me. I charged it fully and stowed it in the under seat cubby.
I am pondering snow tires or rescue boards as the next upgrade.

I wasn’t aware that the 12v outlet in the cab was always active. If so, that would be a convenient place to plug in a battery minder.
